My self-summary
Well, I like 97% of the populace, enjoy travel, discovering new music, and being a foodie. I heart the Edmonton Symphony orchestra (!), and am a member of the Art Gallery of Alberta. I also have a trusty library card, in case you were wondering. I am a vegetarian, and I have been for about 4 years. Just because I don't eat meat doesn't mean I don't think you can, I just probably won't be making you a steak... ever? I am trilingual in English, French and "Sarcasm". Upon sampling my friends for descriptors, I've been told the following are applicable (in no particular order): "Eccentric", "Hilarious", "Awesome", "Mildly blunt", "Sweet", "Horribly mean", "Ballin' ", "Adorable" and "Shopping problem" (my credit card company would probably agree).
What I’m doing with my life
I work in a challenging field, and spend my spare time with my friends or family.
I’m really good at
Being awkward. Making people laugh, out loud, especially when they weren't expecting it. No wait...Cooking. I mean, no offence Paris, but my crepes are better than yours. I'm also really good at "the sarcasm".
The first things people usually notice about me
My hipster glasses? Hopefully not the food in my teeth. Based on a recent experience at the farmer's market where a little girl yelled "LIPSTICK!"(which, I must have you know, made my day), I'm thinking my proclivity for red lips. Some people even notice the sarcasm.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
It is an understatement to say how much I love music. Examples include: Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Kasabian, Lana Del Rey, Coeur de Pirate, Beirut, The Strokes, Austra, Feist, Keane, Devendra Banhart, the Walkmen, the XX, Justice, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sharon van Etten, PJ Harvey, Danger Mouse, Florence and the Machine, the National, Grizzly Bear, the Shins, and Mark Ronson... you get the idea.

And that isn't even delving into classical music. I love music played on the organ. I heart Bach. I love the Goldberg variations of Bach (especially those played by Gould). Debussy is ever so lovely to listen to. And oh, Chopin. Oh.

Movies: While I'm not a particuarely distinguished cinephile, I do tend to favour anything by Quentin Tarantino.

Food: I make delicious vegetarian delights. Even my meatatairan friends husband's don't mind when I cook everyone dinner.
The six things I could never do without
My friends/family (obvious? Though admittedly they aren't things)
My glasses (they are prescription after all)
Music (including all live shows from arena concerts to the symphony)
My iPhone,
My car (sadly, I love it more than I should),
Tea (loose leaf of course)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Shoes. Ooops. I mean, how much easier this would be if we both just smiled at each other while reaching for the same package of basil at the market... anything rather than this "reverie" of online dating...
And that it's probably time for me to take a break from this place.
On a typical Friday night I am
Having coffee/ tea with friends
Entertaining aforementioned friends (can you say dinner party?)
At the symphony
Reading a book
… Watching something on Netflix
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I usually have a "song of the day" everyday. And I swear more than a lady should...
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi girls
  • Ages 26–35
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You want to play Jenga.
You like polka dots.
You dig the same type of music, going to farmer's markets, and are capable of upholding intelligent and witty conversations. We can go be rascals somewhere and drink some tea. Or, you know, being clever, you could suggest an alternative. Or if you would like a new pen-pal, I don't think awesome people can really be limited by kilometres.
