mindful, open, and relaxed
My self-summary Propose an edit
Motivation is relative. I'm busy planning things subliminally.
Looking to get out of the computer business. Bookkeeping could be
retro. I'll throw away my cell phone and live on a beach somewhere.
Barcelona? It's a city, it's a beach. It's a city & a beach. I
do miss New Orleans however.
I am artistic but lack the ability to draw coherently, silly,
intelligent, dumb, weird, shy, outgoing, relaxed, introspective,
mindful, most of all, I am not actually a cat. Well, I might be a
cat, at least in my next life.
I refuse to wear a seatbelt while riding in the back of a car and
I've been beaten down by the law and after my 5th seat belt ticket
as a driver, I'm conforming. I'm conforming, O.K!
Overall, I'm extremely easy going & adaptable to whatever is
around me, not unlike an Ituri Chameleon.
I like that when I look at my own profile here I'm not completely
my own Match or Friend. I guess that makes a bit of sense.
I constantly eat out, I really like desserts but never at the same
resturant where I have my meal.
It's not unlike me to drive WAY too far for my own entertainment.
Driving to get tea seems like overkill. Luckily I've received my
order of Acai! It's hard to drive and find Acai, unless you are in
the rainforest, and then it's just hard to drive. I will drive to
New Orleans for an omlette.
I really would like to have more pictures where I smile but...
but.. I must not like the people I hang around with when my picture
is taken. I must not like people. I don't like people. I guess that
is negative and I should meditate or do some yoga now. I don't hate
you.
Recently I've begun to put soap on my hands before I start to wash
them. It's a strange sensation.
I like to sit at a coffee shop and watch people come and go. It's
hard to find that in the states. The further I go from the USA to
more interesting the people watching becomes.
I'm a big fan of not telling on people. That's no fun. Let them
make their mistakes, it's character building.
I seem to be slowly building this profile, let us pretend it's a
work in progress. Everybody likes to pretend.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I just took a job that will be 95% telecommute, I need to find a
good city in which to live. Let the search begin...
Just switched from a key lock to a combination lock, what a
difference! Those things are sweet.
I started 'SuperSlow' training. I hope to become strong! I'll be
able to open the tops of peanut butter jars and gain enough
confidence to ride on an escalator. I know it doesn't take strength
to ride an escalator but it's the inner strength I'll gain that
will allow me to accomplish any task.
What is all this about love the work you do and it's not work. I'd
like to find the person who first said that in a dark alley.
I like to sit outside cafes and drink coffee, tea or throw large
rocks on people's feet while i think about how not to put salt in
my eye.
I recently spent a few nights as a pedicab driver, taking over a
shift as a favor for a friend. What I have learned: Americans are
fat! I think that job would be worthwhile if they charged by the
pound, not by the distance.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Give it to me, I'll figure it out for you... or at least give you a
hint. It's fixed, good, now I'll take it from you, you probably
don't need it anyway.
recently i've been thinking about cupcakes. i really didn't like
cupcakes until recently. sugar, icing, eggs, those poor baby
chickens. mmmmm, cupcakes.
i'm thinking of starting a blog. typing all those letters though,
one after another, i'll have to have someone tell one me. i'm
telling on you.
i wish i could change my screen name here, i don'y speak spanish
well however i do like the number 71, it's cool.
i'm going to relate something to you, i'm ready to go for a swim
however i HATE swimming. it's too much trouble! only if i have to
save a baby that went under, is this making sense. help, i'm
starting to feel like a prostitute in a bubble gum factory.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
Kissing on both sides of the cheeks is cool, they don't do that
much here in the states, people don't really like to touch here I'm
finding, it must be an American thing.
My incredible parking skills perpetuates my reputation. You
couldn't believe how helpful it is to be the king of parking. 'Look
at that guy driving down the road, I bet he gets a good parking
spot.' I can't really practice parking here in Orlando because it's
not a real city (I've already been contacted by the city officials
about this comment but I'm not going to remove it from this
profile, I'm rebellious). Since I left New York however I find it's
not so important to have this kind of luck. Can i trade it for
something?
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
Help him! Help him! Help who? Help the bombardier! I'm the
bombardier. I'm all right. Then help him. Help him!
Pynchon always comes to mind, after reading Pynchon everything
seems pretty easy. Ideally, a perfectly contructed Pynchon
sentence, the poignancy of an Atwood quote and the wit of Bryson.
I'd like to read that book.
Live music is still interesting to me, no matter how much I try to
shake it. I have all these CD's but I would much rather see it in
person. Let me have my language tapes in the car. I know know the
basics of French, Spanish and Romanian, well at least enough to ask
someone over for a drink. New Orelans roots music still tops my
list as I continue this desire to spend more time near the bayou.
Anders Osborne, Tab Benoit, Jon Cleary...
although my favorite album is of a different genre, that Neutral
Milk Hotel album, so good! I haven't been out to see live music
like I used too. Once I settle things here in Orlando I'll be back
to the festivals and shows. It's warm here you know. Today it's
probably over 100, not Celsius, otherwise I would have a bit of a
problem. Can I have some water? Do I like to ask questions?
I'm cold...
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
It would be hard for me to live without a car. An unlimited supply
of fuel would be nice. Let's all work on alternative power so we
can have limitless travel. Live music, travel as much as you can,
spread kindness. Yes, please tell Morley I'm doing my best to
spread kindness.
My ipod, wait, i don't have an ipod... Your ipod. Well, just
knowing you have an ipod. Apple is making too much money and is
evil as all multinational corporation [Note to Apple: Send me some
money and I'll remove the last comment].
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
Thinking is overrated. Live in the moment, there will be plenty of
time to worry later. I'll just let things come to me but I do like
to think about acai, guarana, over chlorinated pools and Banyan
trees. I forgot to eat acai yesterday. When is yesterday anyway.
It's confusing to think about it while typing. What will yesterday
be to you, the reader?
Meditation, isn't that clever.
My next tattoo, the last one I got was just um... um... I forgot,
somewhere in the early 90's, go figure.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Seeing live music, sounds like a Friday night to me. Traveling to a
new location. What is wrong with going out on the weekdays and
staying in on a Friday. Another letter is in the works. Dear Friday
night, what have you been doing to the general population. They get
all crazy and the hospitals have more than they can handle. Please
try and be more like Tuesday. Thanks in advance Friday. Yours,
Daniel
If I'm not seeing music I'm avoiding work, trying to plan my next
trip overseas, finding bags of money in the woods while searching
for Bigfoot or squinting my eyes from the bright lights of the
moon.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
Privacy, interesting concept. I'll write a book about that. If I
see a door with a private sign on it, i like to remove it, I should
carry a screwdriver.
I just realized if you put your cup directly under the ice machine
the ice doesn't fly everywhere. How could I have just learned that?
I guess I'm still a student, damn.
I don't seem to smile in photographs and like the word photograph
over picture. Snapshot out-trumps them both though.
I've been teary eyed over sentimental movies. I'm not a
crier.
I watch Judge Judy and People's Court, I am not a criminal.
You should message me if Propose an edit
You have some sort of head trauma, you've been in a mental ward at
some point or have a distorted perception of how the world
functions.
or maybe you want to see a show. People watch. Cause trouble. Or
have an affinity for the word 'meow'. Well, we can try and stay out
of trouble for now. I need more travel. Meow.
