I am a really shy FTM transsexual.

The language and culture of Finland are very important to me, even though I am not really Finnish.

I am nerdy. I am interested in computers. I love Star Trek.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated from St. Louis Community College in May 2013. I was studying at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville for a while, but that got to be too hectic. I want to go to Southwestern Illinois College and get a second Associate's degree in something related to computers. For now, I don't work and I have no idea what I want to do with my life, but I'm working on figuring that out.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Singing (I love singing, but I'm not very good at it anymore since my voice changed), crochet, making up my own crochet patterns, learning other languages, computer things, sewing
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
How quiet I am. But once I get to know people, I slowly start to open up :)

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Computer, internet, friends, crochet hook, yarn, love (from family, friends, or a significant other)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future - Will I ever find a girlfriend or boyfriend? Will I ever get married? What kind of job will I have? Will I be happy?
My family and friends
The Finnish language
Finnish music (I'm particularly obsessed with the vocal group Rajaton)
How to improve my social skills
How to overcome the difficulties in life caused by mental illness
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually at home. I don't go out much unless I have someone to go with me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have moderate to severe anxiety and depression, but I am seeing a therapist and psychiatrist and I am really trying hard to get these under control. Plus I'm finally on the right medication for it so it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. It has affected my ability to finish school and limited the types of jobs that I could have, but I am managing pretty well.
