My self-summary
I’m a happy person with a weakness for chocolate and horror movies. People say I’m funny, and I wouldn’t want to contradict them...because I also don’t like conflict :) Originally from Miami but have been living in NYC for over 6 years and love it more each day - but I do think that one day I’ll move to a place where the beach is closer and I have a backyard.

I love experimenting in my studio kitchen (which is an experiment in itself!). I enjoy taking care of my health, working out, not to distract but like I said...that chocolate though. I recently lost a considerable amount of weight that before would’ve been only a dream. But for the past year, I have changed my lifestyle.

I’ve had a few careers in my lifetime but the most notable have been in fashion design and digital advertising. Fashion design to me is not about the latest trend or what the glossy magazines say and you won’t find me dressing like a vogue intern. I love the art of fashion, the construction and workmanship of a piece- the material, the patterns- ahh I could go on forever.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in digital advertising making pretty campaigns come to life online. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it but what fuels me is working with good people (I’ve made some of my best friends through work) on good products that I believe in.

When I’m not working, I’m either at the gym, sweating off my chocolate, hanging out with friends, watching live gigs for random bands, taking pictures of strangers in Central Park, knitting, taking road trips with friends, on a plane to Miami for some sun, and mom’s home cooking, designing surf gear for my side company.
I’m really good at
I couldn't figure this out myself (I guess I should add modest to the list…) so I asked my friend and this is what she had to say:

“She is really good at being that one person you know you can count on- no matter what. I’m not just saying that. Your aunt is in town and you aren’t but you want someone to take your aunt out for dinner and you can’t think who would have a heart big enough to do that on their Friday night? She will. You’ve had a crap week and all you want is to drive out to the middle of nowhere and look at stars but who will come with you? Elizabeth and she will rent the zip car too. You’re sick and nothing at CVS is working anymore- call her. She has the BEST hot tea concoction that will knock your sinuses into another dimension.”

Maybe next time I ask a guy friend?!

I like making spontaneous decisions and taking care of my people when they aren’t well. Oh, but I am also really good at splitting the check in big groups because you KNOW no one wants to do that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m short (5’0 to be exact) and I’m not from New York. You can take the girl out of Miami but you can’t take Miami out of the girl. Maybe its my love of flip flops or how awkward I feel in coats…

Also my laugh- it can get a little loud if something is really funny (not the embarrassing type). But I love to laugh so who cares!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This can be a never ending list

I enjoy concerts and any kind of live performance.

Here's a list of the things I don't like (not to be negative, but the list would be shorter) AND if we get to know each other you're realize almost everything is my "favorite."

Music - Everything for the most part. I love concerts and different genre.

Books - I don't like "Savannah Love" kind of books. I'm not into books that have the potential of becoming a chick flick.

Movies - I really do like all kind of movies. I like horror films, but I am scared to watch alone.

Food - I don't like pumpkin, celery, liver, Dulce de leche (too sweet), and eel.
The six things I could never do without
The obvious essentials... water, sleep, food, family, deorderant, rubber-bands to pick-up my hair.

- Music
- Beach
- Camera
- Books
- My friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
everything... what to learn next. Randomly I wonder why people press the close door button in an elevator as the door closes, but they continue to frantically press the button. I mean, really?!

My best friends and I are working on building a little company - surf board bags. I think of how to make that venture special and successful. I look for inspiration everywhere.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing anything like having dinner with friends, going to the movies, out walking around or staying home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
1. I love fireworks

2. I have a happy dance - if you get to see it ... well, then we're on a good path.

Actually, I don't get why this question is even asked here - but there you have it - two of the many things I could share.
