A friend of mine recently looked at my profile and let me know that it is extremely boring. He thought it was hilarious that I'm in advertising, but didn't do a great job selling myself. Lol, I guess it is like the makeup artist who goes without makeup or the mechanic that has a car that barely runs. Anyway... here's my second go at it.

As I mentioned, I'm in advertising which I love. It's a high pressure and challenging environment that continually keeps me on my toes. The focus of my job is social, so I tweet/facebook/pin/instagram and about a million other things that didn't exist 10 years ago.

When I'm not doing all those things, I love to cook and travel. I'm very lucky that my current job calls for some US travel, but I have a passport with too many blank pages and I would love to fill it up.

I also love comedy and have done stand up a few times, produced my own theater shows and serve on the board for a theater company in Philadelphia.

In general, I'm up for any adventure - big or small - I love new experiences, exploring new and old areas and seeing what this big world has to offer.

Learning. Every day. This year, I started focusing more on my overall health and well being, so I started going to gym and learning how to cook healthier food. It's been a cool journey that leaves me feeling better and helped me discover new areas to improve myself. My goal was to complete a 5k this year and so far I've completed 2! Guess I can count that for next year, right?

I also love having parties and cooking for my friends, so I started a blog chronicling what I've been up to in the kitchen. It's a lot of fun, but recipes are challenging to write. Lol, I never realize how many steps it takes to make something until I go to write it out.

Using bacon in creative ways. I just made Bourbon Bacon Jam. That almost qualifies as a pick-up line, right?

I'm tall. Almost every week a tiny old lady at the grocery store asks me to reach something for her.

Books - Sedaris and Augusten Burroughs - I don't get a ton of time to read, but I am working on that.
Movie - Wet Hot American Summer is truly the best movie ever made. 4Realzies.
TV Shows - Mad Men, Modern Family, 2 Broke Girls, Parks and Rec, Community, The Pitch, and pretty much any comedy on BBCA.
Food -Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese - are my top faves.

The phrase, "Life is short." Because it's completely untrue... Life is literally the longest thing any of us will experience. I get the whole make the most of your time argument, but I wish we could just replace "Life is short" with "Stop making assgrooves in the couch" or something more clever.

Hanging with friends, baseball game, or checking out a new restaurant. Sometimes, I'm just laying on my couch relaxing away the week.
