i'm from the middle of nowhere in maine and now live in the seaport -- the only thing resembling the middle of nowhere in downtown boston. this was not intentional.

update: i now live in southie. there's a lot about southie that's like rural maine -- mostly the old men who wave at you every morning as you walk down the sidewalk. no complaints there.

update again: i live in the south end now. it's got pretty much nothing in common with rural maine.

i work at a crazy startup in cambridge. if given free reign i'll talk about my job too much, but only because i love it.

the internet, finding jobs for people, picking out wine, editing, reading maps, buying art, navigating airports, ordering the best thing on the menu, keeping plants alive, and making an apartment that feels like home.

my walk. i walk like i know where i'm going. i always get asked for directions, even in countries where i can't read any of the street signs.
