My Self-Summary

Hi! I'm transgender and I'm on this website looking for friends to chat with (online). I'm not really actively pursuing a dating relationship with anyone; rather I'm looking for like minded transgender or transfriendly folk to be penpals with, that may be able to relate to the ups and downs of the unique lives we are living.

I'm fulltime and no one I interact with on a daily basis is aware of my transgender status. Not that I'm actively hiding this fact from them, but rather its not a relevant fact nor the main focus of my life. At the same time, being stealth/woodworking means I rarely talk to people who are going through the same things I am. Which, I guess, is why I'm here. :)

What I’m doing with my life

I'm quietly moving up the ranks in a small startup that have multi-national ties in Brazil, Mexico, China, and India. I'm finding new things to learn in engineering, entertainment, programming and gaming fields everyday.

I’m really good at

I'ld like to think I'm pretty good at gaming. I'm alright with stringed instruments of all sorts, and I'm trying to slowly teach myself piano.

The first things people usually notice about me

I've had the most random things pointed out to me. My hair, or that I look kind of half white (I'm full asian!), that I'm quiet, or that I'm very different from the average person working in the gaming industry (read: female).

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Movies and TV: Lord of the Rings, Serenity, Firefly, Lie to Me, Fringe, Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, The Daily Show

Music: Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Beatles, Crosby Stills and Nash. I've recently discovered Eva Cassidy, and...wow.

Games: Valkyria Chronicles, Metal Gear Solid (especially 3!), Fallout 3, Xenosaga and Xenogears

Food: I'm learning to love Indian and Mexican!

Probably a ton more stuff here, mostly geeky and nerdy

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The Future. My mind likes to wander, and I usually end up thinking about something related to astronomy, like if we humans would be out in space someday and advanced to the point where people like me won't have to worry so much.

I also like to think a shorter distance into the future to think about what to eat for dinner. :p

On a typical Friday night I am
