My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
These self summaries are never easy. I am on here to connect with like minded folks in the area. I am looking for friends but would not ignore a deeper connection. I am always open to creative individuals with a sense of adventure and ease. Right now, I am training to be a yoga teacher and am having fun learning about this while contraption I have been given for this life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I moved here in the greatest serendipity, working for a cause I believe in deeply, and learning in a community I have great respect for. I work as a mindfulness based psychotherapist, reiki master and a meditation teacher. Every day is moving, meaningful, invigorating, perplexing, and fun. I feel grateful to be exactly where I should be.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening, telling stories, singing, socializing, bringing different types of people together, entertaining, decorating, planning, making home, snuggling, making smores, rehabbing junk furniture, thrifting, Making art - when I feel moved, writing- when I feel moved, making music - when I feel moved...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyebrows. They sometimes say, "Your are the one with the eyebrows." It kinda makes me wonder how many are out there without them. Poor folks...

Food: I love a good coffee (never to go)... Rich yummy foods from most cultures. Fresh baked bread, good fresh sushi, a warm apple strudel, a refreshing fruit smoothy in the Summer... this is getting random. I love food. As for beverages, I rarely turn down a great glass of wine or a real stiff whiskey on a cold winter's night.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Self awareness
Peanut butter and chocolate combo
Sunshine (porches to sit on and green grass to lay in)
Psycho-spiritual books
Rearranging furniture
Music I can belt out to
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Right now, I am thinking about enchantment. I think about the ways I can infuse magic and mystery into daily life. I think about old spaces and ivy crawling up a wall, bath tubs in an overgrown brush, the smell of baking bread and the sound of distance voices, the feeling of thumping dancing feet, the smells of horses like some distant dream of a past I may have lived. I think about home, ritual and rites of passage.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Enjoying a potluck with good friends, a bonfire, playing the harmonica, swooning by candle light, doing a puzzle, collaging, listening to records with a glass of wine, dancing out at a show, baking sweet treats... any other adventures that strike my fancy.
