I'm adventurous, fun, easy going, and full of life. I prefer to be on the go than to stay at home, but I'm fine doing both. I love to travel, and I've been to a few different countries. I love all things artistic. Music, dance, painting. Anything creative I can appreciate. I'm not a fan of modern pop culture though. None of it. The music, the celebrities, or the entertainment. I really can't stand reality tv. I'd rather sit and read a book. It's not even real, I think they spend more time scripting those shows than old fashioned fictional tv. I text way more than I talk over the phone. Does anyone under 60 have a landline phone in their home? How 1980's is that? I make awesome guacamole, and amazing AEbleskiver ( it's a Scandinavian pancake thing ). I prefer a dive bar with a good juke box to a noisy club packed with people. I'd prefer a walk along the Chelsea Piers even more. I like going out and doing thing, but I don't mind sitting home and watching a movie. If you consider walking 6 blocks "far" then we're probably not a good match.

Right now I'm resisting the urge to travel to an exotic country. I'm working my way to buying a business of my own, so I can't be hopping on a plain to Russia right now.

Obviously I'm not good at internet dating. I also suck really bad at talking on the phone, good thing phone conversations went out with pants below the ass... oh wait, I forgot that people still do that. Either they don't have mirrors, or they just don't realize how stupid they look.
I think the one thing I do better than anything is texting. I'm fast, pretty accurate,and I don't use a lot of abbreviations. In fact I may the best texter out there, I put 14 year old girls to shame. Over 3,000 a month... top that!
I give good advice. Friends usually come to me with life questions. I guess I've experienced a lot for my age.
I'm really good with my hands. From fixing and building things to playing drums and guitar. Doing anything creative makes me happy.

I don't watch TV. No reality shows, sitcoms or dramas. It's not that I don't like it ( well, I do have a strong dislike for reality tv...it's not even real. It's all scripted and phony ), I just have other things I'd rather do. I like educational shows and I love sports ( except baseball ).
My favorite movie is Dead Man's Shoes. It's very dark, and very powerful. I love My life without me, The Star Wars movies, the New Batman movies, The Machinist, Sunshine ( not Little Miss, although that was cute ) There's more...I'll fill them in as they come to me.
I love the movie version of Les Miserables with Claire Daines and Liam Neeson.

Thinking in general. If I could get my mind to stop racing, I wouldn't have so much trouble falling asleep. Whatever catches my interest for that moment is what I think about. If I have a trip to Europe coming up, I'll be spending hours planning my days there. What I want to see and do. If I read an article about a new planet, I'll probably be thinking about that. If you're really awesome, and we click, I'll probably think about you a lot.

I don't care much about age or race. I think it depends on the person. I'll give just about anyone a shot, but I do have limits. If you're 50, I don't think we could really have a relationship. Same thing with an 18 year old, what could we possibly have in common?
