Hi, my name is Wes. I'm a 28-year-old Atlanta native. I'm kind of a big deal. Once I even had lunch with the mayor -- actually I sorta stole someone's assigned seat at a fundraiser, but Mayor Shirley Franklin still sat next to me. We shared stories about the crazy things our children did in preschool. (I was nervous, so I lied and told her I had kids. It helped with the conversation's flow.)

I've been to over 20 countries (but I cheat and count the ones where I only saw the airport). I spent an 8 hour layover at a bar in the Bangkok airport. Then I missed my flight. Alcohol played a factor.

I like to go diving. I've been on over 50 open water dives, but I am still not very good at it. I've run out of air several times, and I'm probably the only person who has lost his BCD at nearly 100 ft and had it float to the surface. Always dive with a buddy.

I play a lot of sports, and I am pretty fast. So I could probably out run the cops if I ever had to.

I have three younger brothers. They gave me a huge trampoline for my 25th birthday. My mom made me move it away from the deck so that I didn't try to jump off. Now I keep it near the back fence and hope that one day I will get to use it like Ferris Bueller. I don't live with my mom, by the way.

I'm a producer with CNN. Basically, I wake up really early and watch TV all day.

I read a lot of books, but the ones I enjoy most have pop-ups or smell when you scratch them.

I also like walking home late at night, all kinds of juice, storytelling, drinking games, warm weather, getting lost in Central America, Halloween, turbulence, and dogs dressed as bumblebees.

I live near Virginia-Highlands and frequent the bars and restaurants in that area. During the week I can be found in Noche, Fontaines, Limerick Junction, Atkins Park, Neighbors. On the weekends I usually branch out to Midtown or Buckhead.

I really hate peas. People sprinkle them into all kinds of food and those little suckers are impossible to pick out. Strangely, I kind of like green beans.
