My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am originally from Switzerland and moved to the US when I was 18. But you probably couldn't tell that by my accent. I have discovered that going a little beyond my comfort zone can be rewarding, and have since discovered new hobbies such as rock climbing, Zumba, softball. I also sometimes like to just go for a drive and explore new places and also enjoy getting lost in museums such as the MFA, or the ICA.

I am an avid reader and will read pretty much anything from Hemmingway, to J. K. Rowling, to Stephen Colbert(except for Danielle Steele, etc.). I also enjoy drawing and sometimes painting and have been known to take some art classes.

I am looking for my best friend. Someone with whom I can connect on a deep level.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I currently work as a mental health counselor in a psychiatric day treatment program. That is I work with adults who have been diagnosed with chronic mental illness in an outpatient program. I am a part of a treatment team who provides group therapy and carry a caseload. I find my work challenging at times, but can also be rewarding.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told that I smile a lot.

As mentioned in the previous paragraph, I am an avid reader and will read pretty much anything and everything. I am almost done with "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Hemmingway. Books that are next on my list are "Devil in the White City" by Erik Larson, "Post Office" by Charles Bukowsky, "Catch-22" by Joseph Heller, "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett.... and the list continues to grow. If you have any recommendations let me know!

As far as TV Shows go... I enjoy Mad Men, Dexter, Community, Daily Show, Boardwalk Empire, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, East Bound and Down, Californication... etc.
