My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm dedicated to enjoying life right now and growing as a person. Right now I have a decent job, a flexible work schedule, and just enough money to go out and do things. The possibilities are endless!

I can be fiercely independent but don't let that scare you, I love people and value having friends I can depend on. I'm a rambling soul, trying to find inspiration in every day life and not let things get too predictable. I'm an explorer. You can find me at late night shows/dives on weekdays or getting up early to wonder through local parks and forests. I like live music, nature, trail running, hiking, backpacking, photography, travel, attempting to draw and play instruments, environmental advocacy, climbing, health and nutrition, kayaking/fishing, etc. I can be quite introspective as well as a bit silly at times. I try to push myself in some way every day.

I'm an Atlanta native, but my circle of friends has been getting smaller, and I've been finding myself going out alone or with the same 1 or 2 people again and again - not that I don't still have fun!

I don't have any lofty expectations for meeting the perfect match on OkCupid. I feel like I'm finally coming into my own as an person now, but I'm still trying to find a life/job/career path that is more rewarding and satisfying to me, and that takes precedence over 'finding love' or 'settling down' right now. So I'm here for friends, or more, and I'm not ruling out any possibilities. If nothing else, OkCupid is an interesting social experiment and a good measuring stick for how I am doing in life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living that twenty-something, yung professional life to the fullest!

Working in an office job where we ask people to let us track them for a few days. I'm basically a spy.

I see myself changing jobs, going back to grad school, or traveling abroad to teach English within the next year.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Reading maps, navigating and finding things off the beaten path. Well timed quips. Cooking. Walking fast. Organic Farming. Planning adventures and short road trips. Peer pressuring. Hitting the snooze button. Having impromptu cookouts late on a weekday. Being intuitive and reading people. Rhythm, playing the devils advocate, goofing off, loving my dog, entertaining myself, being slightly skilled at a lot of other things.

Music: Lately my playlist has mainly comprised of an interesting mix of New Orleans street musicians and math rock.

Books: I'm trying to read more non-fiction. In the past I've enjoyed Murakami, Oscar Wilde, Nick Hornby, Bukowski, Tom Robbins, and others, but I'm really trying to expose myself to some new literature and non-fiction. Any suggestions?

Food: All of it! Except Mayonnaise. Buford Highway anybody??

TV/Movies: Not a big movie buff and I don't watch much tv. I'm probably not going to get most of your tv/movie references, sorry. I do enjoy Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Wire, Shameless, Misfits, Workaholics, Boardwalk empire, etc. as well as some good documentaries.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Interesting people (you?)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The best ways to spend my time. Mundane things like which flavor Smart Water should I get this time? Why we think the way we do. How to do something meaningful and satisfying with my life. Minor existential crises.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Going out for music/food/drinks or at home relaxing, sporadically reading, drawing, watching tv.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I can never remember words to songs. Also, I don't have a lot of recent photos so please excuse any and all selfies.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have your own thing going on. If you have any of the following qualities: passionate, idealistic, creative, kind, open minded, adventuress, bold. If you have striking eyes, crazy hair, an infectious smile or your own sense of style. If you love food and eating healthy. If you can laugh at stupid things, and at yourself. If you aren't happy with the status quo and want to live life to the fullest.

If you live close to the city. If you wanna go bouldering, see a movie at the plaza or drive in, get some yummy ethnic food, sing karaoke or attempt to dance at a show/edgewood, have drinks in some sort of outdoor setting, climb a tree, volunteer on a weekend, or any other fun things I haven't thought of!

I'm not trying to date or talk to everyone in ATL with Cupid, but I'm optimistic I'll meet some cool people so if I don't respond, I don't mean any offense by it. With that said, you should message me!
