My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Atlanta native. I like to think big while enjoying the little details in life. I'm the kind of person who's equally content hanging out with my few close friends, which usually involves going on some kind of adventure, or doing my own thing.

I'm interested in all kinds of things, perhaps too many! To name a few: taking epic weekend trips, going to shows, dabbling here and there in drawing and guitar, photography, running, backpacking, kayaking, picnics, playing basketball and soccer pick up games, urban exploring, and gardening.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just got my own office. It's got a window so I can look out and dream of other places. I work for a company that gets paid by local governments to conduct transportation surveys and study the way people move around.

Besides that I've been spending a lot of my free time taking swing dance and singing lessons. Those are things that I was not born with a natural inclination for but I've always wanted to learn. So-far it's been a blast and also incredibly rewarding.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Somewhat skilled at some of the before mentioned interests. Conversation, well timed quips, listening, being a drinking or adventure buddy and planning fun outings or trips. Not half bad at cooking. Being nimble and playing stifling defense. My boss says that I have good instincts.
The first things people usually notice about me

Probably that I'm walking really fast.

Music: Lately my playlist has mainly comprised of an interesting mix of New Orleans street musicians and math rock.

Books: I'm trying to read more non-fiction. In the past I've enjoyed Murakami, Oscar Wilde, Nick Hornby, Bukowski, Tom Robbins, and others, but I'm really trying to expose myself to some new literature and non-fiction. Any suggestions?

Food: I love trying new cuisines and experimenting with recipes. I'm trying to learn more healthy vegan/raw food recipes and incorporate them into my diet. I do eat meat, but have been following a somewhat extreme elimination diet due to allergies, and it's made me re-think cooking and eating.

TV/Movies: Not a big movie buff and I don't watch much tv. I'm probably not going to get most of your tv/movie references, sorry. You can't go wrong with Breaking Bad, Twin Peaks, Portlandia, or Game of Thrones though.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Adventures (Whatever that means!)
Interesting people (you?)

That's 7, I know
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The best ways to spend my time. Why we think the way we do. Syntax. Procuring sustenance. How I'd rather be in the woods.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Going out for music/food/drinks or some fun event or at home relaxing, cooking a big meal for myself or sometimes just wasting time internetting :(.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can never remember words to songs.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you wanna hang out! If you have your own thing going on. If you aren't happy with the status quo.

Or if you wanna do any of the following things: Ride bikes, pretend we're Anthony Bourdain in Atlanta, go see an awesomely bad movie at the Plaza or the drive in, farmers markets, food swaps, record store/thrift shopping, picnics, rock climbing, urban exploring, music in East Atlanta, go dancing, play trivia, play pool or shuffleboard, or arcade games, climb a tree, cook an extravagant meal, watch a football game.

I think online dating is great in that it gives us a lot of choices, but I think that's also a detriment cause there's so many people to be compared too that this just turns into a game where no matter how much of a 'match' someone may seem, people always tend to get that 'what if there's someone better' mentality. If you're serious about meeting up and don't think this website is only a way to satisfy your curiosity and answer silly questions, then hit me up!
