My name is Emma, but forever and ever, I've always been known as "Em"... I'm an Australian girl who recently moved back to Australia after living in Scotland, the Isle of Man, Guernsey and England (and doing a bit of travelling in Europe)... I'm also in the process of reanswering all my questions. I answered them originally about 5+ years ago, and a lot has happened in that time which has changed my ideals/attitudes/values. So I figure it's time for an update of answers. Bear with me whilst I do that ;)

I have an adorable baby boy named Tyler who was born in September 2009, he's my world :) and I just had another baby in March 2011 (a little baby girl this time!!) called Maya.

I play guitar and am very musical, I used to like to go to the pub for a beer or Guinness, but I really dislike clubs and dance music/techno etc. I love a good concert, one favourite gig being The Fratellis @ the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh it was fab! I'm perhaps slightly bohemian (I do lots of art, crafting, sewing, and "upcycling" / repurposing)...

I am not online a lot - I am currently studying at University (I'm doing Health Science and intend to become a specialised midwife one day. My friend had me join this website a few years ago as she's on here too, I'm mainly only on here for the quizzes! (Oh and that Psychologist game :P)

I am sparkly, witty, and gregarious... I am also not looking for a relationship!

In 2006 I moved to Edinburgh for a year and a half now, then moved to Dalgety Bay in Fife, followed by Darvel in East Ayrshire then we just a few months back moved to the I.O.M, then on to Guernsey, then Southport near Liverpool, then back to Australia in May 09!

I'm currently studying to be a Registered Nurse. I have deferred this year as I have my little boy and a baby girl to look after so have taken a year off. I'm pretty good at juggling a busy life though...

In my spare time - I sew, I bake, I write (I keep a blog, as well as feature as a guest blogger on some paid sites and am currently discussing being featured in a published book - feel free to peruse my blog: http://notsosuzy.blogspot.com ) I crochet, I paint canvas art, and I do stuff with the kids (play group, kindergym, and the like)...

I'm also seeing someone. Comfortably!

Tying jelly-snakes into double knots using my tongue... Sculling pints when dared... Playing guitar... putting up with pain (I have a good pain threshold for a woman and was laughing, honest to god, LAUGHING throughout my labour!) Being tolerant / patient (I used to be a nanny, looked after 4 kids under 7!) and teaching little people (ie. children to learn things. As mentioned earlier I have kids myself - 2 under 2... I love having a laugh and making other people laugh... Smiling)

Even though there's not a section for it, I thought I'd mention also what I'm NOT very good at! I'm rubbish at:

- shopping. It frustrates me at the moment. Enjoy the joy of taking a bunch of stuff home, but the idea of trudging around trying to find something I like, and once I've found it whether its going to fit or look ok or whatever can potentially upset me :P However when its not for clothes, I do enjoy shopping very much

- playing car racing games like gran turismo, etc. I don't know how guys do it, but they have this uncanny way of just being able to be brilliant at such things, whereas I for some reason can never win a race... However I AM good at Burnout 2, where the idea is to cause as much vehicular damage as possible - typical woman driver LOL

- clubbing. I'm just not very much into it at all. I like a few drinks at the pub, but I really don't enjoy loud repetitive dance music and people melted out of their heads jumping around me in a sweaty pile. Just feels ick. I'd rather have an intimate group sat in a cosy, dim old pub booth.

How short I am (5ft 1), and my UNPLACEABLE Hybrid Accent! People honestly can't figure out where abouts I'm from :)

And my eyes apparently - I don't notice them as being anything remarkable, but they do get commented on alot ;)

a) The God of Small Things - Arundhati Roy; How to Be Good - Nick Hornby (most Nick Hornby books in general actually... High Fidelity is class!) 1984 by George Orwell (my Nickname was George for aaaages, long story, but namely cos I was born in '84)... The Surgeon of Crowthorne (very interesting read, ties in with my like of etymololgy and stuff!), and the works of JM Barrie (I visited his childhood home in Scotland, and hold an autographed limited edt. copy of Peter Pan which I gave to my son when he was born...) Anything by Eckhart Tolle, plus I like reading about sociology/philosophy, and self-awareness / self-awakening. Oh and every 2 months, I read Frankie Magazine. It's the only magazine I'm willing to purchase... Love it!

b) Across the Universe (FAVE!), Stardust, Hot Fuzz, Trainspotting, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Lucky Number Slevin. The Butterfly Effect (but ONLY the 1st one, the sequels were horrid!!), Dr. Strangelove, Lock Stock

Though I probably like / watch TV shows more though, like Black Books (FAVE!), Ideal (AWESOME - anyone who hasn't ever watched it should!), Q.I., Shameless, Men Behaving Badly, the Mighty Boosh, John Saffran's Music Jamboree, Derryn Brown his shows like - The Messiah / Trick or Treat / Tricks of the Mind, etc, Scottish classics like Chewin the Fat, and Still Game, and silly comedies like Scrubs, South Park, Family Guy, American Dad, The Chaser's war on Everything.

c) SUCH a big variety - The Beatles (probably most faved but I find music hard to favouritise the most!), The Fratellis, Kings of Leon, Oasis, The Libertines, The Raconteurs, Ian Brown, Pearl Jam, RATM, The Kooks, Arctic Monkeys, Eskimo Joe, The Pogues, Ben Harper, Green Day, Spiderbait, Silverchair, Bowie, Bob Marley & the Wailers, The Clash, Muse, Joy Division, Something for Kate, Stone Roses, Modest Mouse, Me first & the Gimme Gimmes, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, The Editors, plus soooo many others (lots of "The..." bands mainly!! See the journal entry!!!!).

d) Turkish delight flavoured Icecream; Trifle, malaysian curries; kaluha and milk; anything rose flavoured and anything home cooked by someone else, eating nice home cooked food is like eating hugs!! :)

My son! I couldn't live without my baby boy... He's the best thing that ever happened to me, without a doubt :) and my daughter - she is the most serene, precious little doll of a child... I am truly blessed with my kids.

Pyjamas - because they are by far the greatest and best item of clothing one can ever wear, indeed if I could live and work in my pyjamas all day, everyday, I would... I've even been to the supermarket in my pyjamas before. Sure people looked at me but at least I was WARM and COSY!! :P My housemates were somewhat embarrassed however :-/

My guitar - I have a blue takamine semi-acoustic guitar which I love dearly (*edit - I had to sell her!! :( but I got a new guitar, not as lovely of course though...), and a lucky plectrum I always without fail wear around my neck... (*edit - it finally broke in March 2011 and has disappeared into the wilderness*)

My good friends - I have the best friends in the world. They all love me for who I am, and we have the most insane but amazing conversations in the world.

My laptop - mainly because it's my primary mode of communication ie. email / Facebook, especially with people back in the UK/Europe, is how my son sees his dad in the UK, etc... It's also how I do a major amount of my networking for my various hobbies & arts/crafts, and also how I network for some freelance work I do in digital editing / logo design / website design. My music - I can't go a day without listening to music, and probably couldn't get myself off to Uni. in the mornings if it wasn't for listening to music whilst showering / getting dressed/ walking to the bus / commuting, etc.! And even if I'm not hearing it, I'm singing it ;)

All kinds of stuff... I imagine silly scenarios sometimes... And think "What if...." I dunno, weird stuff maybe I guess. And I love words and etymology, and making up new words! :) And I often make mental lists which I write down later. I blog alot! :P I'll be honest and admit here that I sometimes just have very warped, crazy ideas and scenarios pop into my head. And thinking about the future a lot. What I'd like to do, what I'd like to become, etc. and lots and lots of time goes on thinking about Uni assignments!!

Well, I USED to be at the pub from 5:30pm til about 9pm, then on to the chippy van for dinner, then on the couch wearing my pyjamas snuggled up watching something funny on TV...

These days it varies... I might catch up with friends, I might spend the evening sorting out the house & tidying, I might chillax on the couch infront of the telly... I might be up all hours with a child (though not often, both kids are very good sleepers!)

I ALWAYS have a nice big cuddle with Tyler :) and tell him a story, and then once he's in bed cute cuddles with Maya...

Errrmm... That my nanna's family decended from Gypsies and that I'm the one who apparently got the most of the gypsy blood when it got passed down. I've lived in about 25-30 different places in the last 10 years!

Also, when I was about 2 years old, I stole a Dolly from a shop... I had one in my hand, and my mum had one up at the counter. She paid for the one at the counter however I walked out the shop with the one in my hand too.... hence really it wasn't theivery, more buy one get one free!! :P

Oh, and that if Dylan Moran (Bernard Black from "Black Books") was to ask me to marry him, I would probably do so immediately! :P

OH! And that I still don't have my learners drivers license!! XD *edit* YES I DO :) I have my L's and nearly have my P's now!!*
