Books: I'll read just about anything that comes with a strong
recommendation. I have been reading a rotation of George R. R.
Martin, Jim Butcher and Terry Goodkind, recently started a
collection of Philip K. Dick's short stories. In the near future, I
will add Kurt Vonnegut, Neil Gaiman and Chuck Palahniuk into the
Yes, I read the Harry Potter series. It was fantastic, but you
already knew that.
Movies: The original Star Wars trilogy, The Adjustment Bureau,
Charlie Bartlett, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, The Cabin in the
Wood, Ghostbusters, the Marvel Universe of movies, High Fidelity,
Serenity, The Sword in the Stone... That's a lot of favorites. Sort
of defeats the purpose, huh?
Music: I could turn this into an essay unto itself, but neither you
nor I have that kind of time. I'm a sucker for cover songs, catchy
hooks, ladies who can sing, and things with groove. All-time
favorites are Coheed & Cambria, Motion City Soundtrack and
Muse. Recent favorites include HAIM, Passion Pit and Chvrches
(Discovered them in December and immediately decided I needed to
see them... Which I'm doing in April). Honorable mentions for
Deadmau5, Paramore, and Saves the Day.
Shows: Firefly, Chuck, Archer, New Girl, Community, Breaking Bad,
Dexter, The Office, Fringe, Lost, Supernatural, Mad Men, Arrested
Development.... I've watched too much television.
Food: French toast is the best toast. Mexican food also works. Big
fan of breakfast cereal, as well as the aforementioned French
toast. I'm convinced my taste buds are broken or just moody, if
that makes sense. I'll try mostly anything with enough coaxing.
