I am independent but at the same time can't stand the thought of not sharing everything with someone. I am comfortable in many different situations and have been told I am very easy to talk to. Oh, I can be as serious as a heart attack when necessary but that doesn't mean I am going to grow up! Life is way too short. I have been told I am a sterling listener and I will look you in the eye when meeting you. I seem to have a knack for bringing people together and solving issues, a mediator of sorts. I am a very passionate and intuitive person with a great work ethic. Quirky, eclectic and original but in many ways very steady, predictable and reliable. Solid as Sears.

I work for myself as a sales rep selling products in the motorcycle industry. I try to stay as fit as possible by playing competitive tennis and riding bicycles. I enjoy everything vintage: watches, pens, eyeglasses, cars, scooters, motorcycles, toasters, hair, fans, get the idea? I am in the process of getting a Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier pup because it is time for a sidekick. He can ride in the passenger seat of the Element if he wears his seat belt and helmet. I have gotten to a point in my life where I am comfortable financially and would like to find an intelligent, witty, semi-nerdy, independent, vintagey, cute (it is better to wake up to cute than beautiful) original, genuine, loyal, gal who knows how to start a outboard motor, bake a cake, bait a hook, can play catch with a hardball, and knows who Barbara Feldon and Edie Sedgwick is? Doesn't really seem like it should be so hard right?

PS. No, these are not qualifiers or deal breakers, sheesh.

Listening, coffee, car detailing, tennis, wrecking speakers, going to "real" townie bars, having a Grain Belt, hanging out with my dad and brother, training, breakfast, rubbing gals feet, crosswords, fishing, back rubs, throwing cards into a hat, playing 52 pick up, making tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, watching TV Land, Get Smart, Mad Men, Twin Peaks, Lawrence Welk, Laugh In, McMillan and Wife, Banacek, Johnny Quest, The Monkees, McCloud, James Bond movies, skipping rocks, yard work, snow angels, sprinting, exercise, going to the Dairy Queen, saving worms on the sidewalk after a rain, making a salt shaker stand on 3 grains, flirting with waitresses, talking to strangers, thrifting, cutting lines into my yard like the ball park, playing catch, solving the worlds problems on a napkin, giving cute haircuts.

I am told hair and glasses and my cuffed jeans and boots. That I say "I am doing well" when asked "how are you doing"? That I will shake your hand twice if I don't get a good grip the first time.

Why the Smith's broke up, why I can't make coffee at home taste like the coffee shop, how many more years I will waste not learning how to play guitar, how a Twist 'O Flex watch band works, whether being on Ok Cupid really has any merit. Why people can't follow directions, If all relationships have a finite time frame? The home run record, Why I don't like the Yankees, why women cut their hair in the spring. Why it is so hard to simply strike up a conversation on this site? You do realize that it's next to impossible to make a decision on someone without exchanging an email or two or speaking to them right?

At Target Field in section 121, row 6, seat 3, or staying out late playing in the neighborhood until my dad whistles and it is time to come in or listening for the 9 o'clock town siren, trying to write funny quirky first responses to gals on Cupid.

I have never met my real father and I can't eat a sandwich unless it's cut diagonally.

You realize that two people can't get to know each other if you don't. Like sitting on the dock as the sun rises with a hot cuppa joe. Like to take Sunday drives, still love snow days and enjoy anything vintage and are original.
