My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a pretty easy going person. I love to cook, but I also like doing crafts and artwork. I enjoy doing artistic activities. I can be a bit shy at times, but once I get to know someone I'm not. I love a good movie, and a few good tv shows. My favorites tend to have some kind of fantasy or sci-fi angle. I also love books, and I'm always looking to expand my collection. I also like puzzles and games, but not jigsaw puzzles, more like crossword puzzles and logic puzzles. All this may mean I'm kind of a dork, but I am happy that way.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a BA from Mizzou, which I finished in 2004. But, I have since decided to go back to school to be a chef, and since narrowed that to baking and pastry. I am really into the local food movement and I am working on growing where I am now.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking
Sewing
Embroidery
(ok, maybe not *really* good, but definitely improving and working at improving all three of those)

wasting time on the internet
getting engrossed in tv shows
procrastination
...... maybe some other stuff as well
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My really long curly hair I guess. It does probably depend on where I am at the time. Otherwise, I really don't know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Umm, this could get long with all of those!!

Music - I have always loved rock music, though my tastes have been adjusting a little bit, so being specific might get difficult.... a few samples... Tool, Garbage, Rob Zombie, Florence and the Machine, Gotye, Pink, Audioslave, No Doubt, The Black Keys, Blondie, Alice in Chains, Weezer, Beastie Boys, Queen, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, .... to give you an idea of range.

Movies - What I want to watch at any time usually depends on my mood. I like a good range of different movies.
.......... such as ...........
The Ninth Gate, Harry Potter films, Lord of the Rings, most Tim Burton, Reservoir Dogs, Thor, The Avengers, Stardust, Whip It, 12 Monkeys, The Red Violin, Romeo and Juliet, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Monty Python, most Tarantino, Marie Antoinette, Practical Magic, The Craft, The Dark Knight, 300, Boondock Saints.... and more

Shows - Fringe, Grimm, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Battlestar Galactica, Once Upon A Time, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Primeval, Merlin, Supernatural, Lost, Bones, New Girl, Don't Trust the B- in Apt 23, The Newsroom, Game of Thrones, Arrow, Psych, Firefly, The Daily Show, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, lots of nerdy stuff.

Books - I tend to go with a lot of fantasy and sci-fi here. I have of course read Tolkien, and Harry Potter. Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors too. Sometimes its good to get into a nice classic though.
......... such as ............
American Gods, Harry Potter, The Handmaids Tale, His Dark Materials trilogy, The Sandman graphic novels, Fables graphic novels, Good Omens, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Mists of Avalon, Coraline, Frankenstein, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Thirteenth Tale, The Alchemist, Earths Children series, Alice in Wonderland, Salt: A World History, The Omnivore's Dilemma, Huckleberry Finn.... an more

Food - Because I am going to school for this, I am open to pretty much anything. If its made from scratch, even better.

Italian has always been a go-to favorite for me. I also love to eat fresh, seasonal food as much as possible. I really don't have a such as list for this because I just love food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee
Food
My Cat
Sewing Machine
Computer
Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What ifs, current tv show obsessions, potential projects, food, the future, my friends and family, books i am reading, projects i have started, put down, and really need to pick up again, coffee, cleaning my home, my cat, wishing i had a garden, places I may want to live, spirituality, social issues, environmental issues, and money money money issues, of course.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working, maybe home crafting and watching tv, maybe at first friday, depends on my schedule and what is happening.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I admit it here, it really isn't private anymore is it?
