My self-summary
update January 2016: Georgia girl looking for a great guy to enjoy the city / the life with! Well educated, well mannered, and well meaning.

I've been single most of my adult life, and although I am a happy single girl, I just think I would enjoy life with a partner, a buddy, a "co-conspirator." But, not a virtual one. And, not a mere charmer. So, please contact me if you are ready to meet a nice girl and actually hang out with her on a regular basis in person. Real kissing is better than virtual kissing ~wink.
What I’m doing with my life
Teaching college classes and tutoring. I also write curriculum for money; I write poetry because I have to.

This year's theme song is "Protection," Lucinda Williams, and when I sing it, I mean every single word: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5GvAjqaHbQ
I’m really good at
writing, teaching, having fun, listening to music -- especially live music.
The first things people usually notice about me
the three dachshunds around my feet
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
my favorite book is the one I'm reading. Music: Alabama Shakes, Susan Tedeski and Lucinda Williams, Black Keys, Train, Sheryl Crow, Wilco, U2, Coldplay...
The six things I could never do without
family
dachshunds
ink and paper
books
Coca-Cola
hot tub baths
I spend a lot of time thinking about
boys, I mean men, I mean kissing.
On a typical Friday night I am
watching Bill Maher
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
While I am attracted to tall men, I am as open as a redheaded liberal poet can be. What I want is a real and kind man who is attracted to me, thinks that I have my *&^# together, and that it looks good, and says to me, “listen, I’m a busy and important man, but I want to participate in your happiness as a new priority that I don’t intend to grow weary of,” and then actually spends time with me.

Also, I sometimes end sentences with a preposition; but, I have a poetic license.
You should message me if
you are really interested in meeting a cool girl whom you could take home to your mother if you left out a few discreet details, and if you are interested in forming a real, not virtual, relationship. And, if you know who you are and what you want, are stable and available, and divorced for more than a year.
