My friends keep me around for my fierce sense of loyalty,
intelligence, often dry sense of humor, and invites to my dinner
parties. I am tight with my inner dork. I like to laugh, often at
myself, sometimes at others. I love live music, meandering in
museums, bantering over drinks, and meals with great company. On
weekends, I love the feel of a snowboard strapped to my feet, boots
on a trail or my toes in the sand, but am very happy on my yoga mat
or spin bike during the week. I'm originally from Ohio and have
pride in my roots. I spent my 20s in LA, and while I still feel a
bit more Angeleno than Washingtonian, I've grown to really love DC.
I have a great circle of friends that enriches my life even more.
The only thing really missing is that special someone with all the

I spend a lot of time thinking about
My constant inner commentary runs the gamut from the origin of
life, to current events, to my relationships, to what I may make
for dinner, to trips I want to take, to my next workout, to such
vapid things as my next nail polish color...
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm not sure I have a typical Friday night. After a particularly
grueling week, I may want to hibernate with a few select friends,
but can usually be found out somewhere for dinner, drinks or a

Some qualities I admire include: kindness, integrity, a sense of
self and a sense of humor, intelligence, wit with a dash of
sarcasm, and perhaps a small hint of vanity. I’m looking for
someone who is also open to the possibility of developing a
long-term relationship. I guess that's a starting point, but also
know chemistry is never that black and white.
