I live in Virginia and will be moving to Denver the middle of this month

I am charming, intelligent, witty, sensual, well traveled, and like writing poetry when inspired (see my journal posts). I enjoy meeting new people, exploring new places, and trying new foods. Did I mention I love good food?? I love to cook, but it's no fun just cooking for myself, I need a partner in the kitchen. You can tell a lot by how well two people cook together.

I'm pretty versatile. I can go from talking to the homeless person on the street who hasn't showered in a week to a dinner with influential people. LOL, I tend to like talking to the homeless people more because there is less pretense. I enjoy hanging out in jeans and a t-shirt as well as dressing up for a night on the town.

I got bit by the Gypsy bug at a young age (being an Army Brat didn't help!!) and have lived in 57 different homes in 4 different countries. I can't watch the travel channel, because I get the "itch" to go, see, do, experience!! After some "recovery' time from this affliction I will go adventuring.

I work in the non-profit sector helping men and women who are transitioning out of prison, trying to break the addictions cycle, and helping children build strength, resilience, and hope who come from homes with family members who are struggling with addiction.

I enjoy exercise, but not so much the indoor kind, well there is that one indoor exercise.... ;-0 I am currently learning more about yoga not just the exercise portion, but but also the meditation and spiritual disciplines!!

Anything that I put my mind to. Well anything except math. I think that comes from going to high school in Detroit where my math teacher would lean out the window in class and suck down a couple 16oz beers while teaching; You were in trouble if you had him for last period!!

Wow, where do I start!! I LOVE GOOD FOOD, from Comfort Food to French Cuisine and everything in between. I can cook (i.e. read a recipe), but in no way consider myself a chef, I'm good but they are in a whole different league. That's probably why I enjoy eating out so much. I benefit from their talent, someone serves me, and still someone else cleans up!! What more can you ask for!! Chocolate, Thai, Italian, Vietnamese, Indian, Sushi, fried bologna sandwiches, pasta with butter and salt, sausage gravy with biscuits and two eggs over easy on top; Damn, I'm making myself hungry!!

How to build a self-sustaining community of people society has marginalized. There is one in Italy that has 3,000 residents. They raise thoroughbred race horses, restore 18th century antiques, have their own medical clinic and AIDS research center, a winery, and a host of other endeavors. All staffed by people who live in the "village" and are recovering drug addicts (including the doctors, they put them thru Med school!!) Amazing!!

Sexually, I tend to be adventurous.

I am an ex-bar bouncer. No I am NOT a violent person, I preferred to TALK them out the door rather that THROW them out, that's what the muscle-bound guys were for !!

In my bedroom there is ALWAYS a clothes explosion!! I have a "clothes chair" clothes come off, and then onto the chair. When I can't see the chair anymore it's time to hang, fold, and put away!! It's an endless cycle, but at least that way I don't have to worry about wearing the same thing twice!! (Did I just say that?? Uh Oh, my gaydar just went off!!) (by the way I'm not homophobic at all, I mean no offense by that comment)
