My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a 26 year old marketing and communications professional who is looking for someone to have fun with and is open to the possibility of a relationship. I'm from Cleveland and love the Indians, but I'm more of a big-city person. I really enjoy the wealth of people and things to do that isn't a part of the local culture here.

My profile name stems from a lack of ideas for said name and a quick glance around the room in which I was typing for an object of inspiration, in case you were wondering.

I enjoy trying out new things and being spontaneous. I'm naturally curious about the world and people. Truthfully, doing the same things over and over again are really boring to me. I'd rather experience new things, but that's not to say I don't have things that I enjoy doing on a regular basis (I suppose those would be best described as hobbies).

I think of myself as someone who has a wide variety of interests. Many things hold my attention, and if you're into something, chances are I have at least a passing familiarity with it. If not, I might as well give it a shot. You never know when you might like something.

My hobbies include watching sports and video games. I also love to watch movies, but I don't watch much TV, except for The Amazing Race and Ghost Adventures. Actually, I'd love to go on both of those shows some day. Especially in the case of the Amazing Race, as I think that it would be an amazing and unique experience. With that said, looking up how exactly that show is put together on Wikipedia has caused me to focus on the mechanics of the game moreso than the actual experience at times. Sometimes knowledge can be dangerous (but only sometimes).

I love listening to music as well and am into many different genres, though if I had to pick one it would be alternative rock.

I'd love to travel the world and enjoy learning about different cultures. I'm also a pretty big fan of exploring new places and the sense of discovery when you find something out of the way and interesting like a locally owned restaurant with delicious food is something that I really love.

In case you were wondering, or not wondering but have taken this test yourself, I'm MBTI type INTP.

I am funny, adventurous, and creative.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I obtained my bachelor's degree in business a few years back, and now I'm working for a very well-regarded University Circle institution. Eventually, I'd like to get a MBA to both take advantage of the opportunities that would come with a broader alumni base and indulge my great deal of personal interest in learning.

I enjoy my free time and just having nothing to do at times, especially when I've been extremely busy. That said, I am certainly driven to accomplish things and I always get things done on time and beyond expectations.

I also tend to carry myself quite confidently at times, to the point that people often stop and ask for directions or locations of items in stores (Michael's for instance) I neither frequent nor am gainfully employed by. It took some getting used to for sure.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Editing stuff. It really bothers me when I read a professional piece of writing and there are missing words or grammatical errors.

I can read pretty fast, usually while gathering the relevant information needed to make a decision.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sense of humor. I'm always trying to make people laugh. Whether that works depends on the person, but it certainly isn't for a lack of trying. It's been described as dry, but I'm not so sure that encompasses the entirety of it. I guess one day I'll have to figure out a term that fits more accurately, but perhaps such a word doesn't exist.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I do read books on occasion, though the mood has to strike me, and I tend to favor reading during the summer months, likely because it is supposed to be relaxing and can be done outside at a place of my choosing for the most part. That being said, I do listen to audiobooks when I work out or on long drives.

I enjoy comedy and action movies, and have a particular affinity for Wes Anderson-type films. My favorite is most certainly Lost in Translation, and I find myself drawn less to commercial blockbusters as I get older.

Music: I like many different genres, although I don't like metal or songs involving copious amounts of screaming. I'd rather be tormented with the musical endeavors of "Nails vs. Chalkboard - The Band!!!" all day than listen to those sorts of things. I have XM Radio, so I change what I'm listening to all the time, but when there's nothing on there (I swear sometimes it's as bad as cable TV) I turn the radio off since there are no good stations anywhere in Cleveland that I've found.

Food: I love to try new restaurants and types of things to eat. I have and adventurous spirit and I'm always looking for something different. Also, I have been told I am a decent to good cook when given a recipe to follow (and inevitably and unintentionally deviate from), though I rarely take the time to make anything complex for myself on weekdays.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My phone
Baseball
A long hot shower
The sun (I don't like the winter when I never see it)
Something to read when I have down time
Internet-I'm not sure how I would go about finding information any other way.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life, people, and sports. Sometimes people think that when I'm quiet (which I am on occasion) that I'm thinking about something really deep and that I'm unapproachable. Usually that's not the case and it's more along the lines of whether or not I think the Indians are going to win tonight.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I drive a 2013 Buick with a vanity license plate so people are aware that I'm not a retiree on my way to a shuffleboard match or AARP convention.
