I am most passionate about the twenty little petri dishes that bound through my door each morning wanting to give me hugs (aka my kindergarten students). Teaching is my dream job and I love the "ah-ha" moments in the mind of a 5 year old.

Typically my smile and eyes get noticed first, followed by my outgoing and bubbly personality. People also pick up on my sarcasm and wit quickly too.

I'm taking this as things in my life which don't include family and friends...I think those two make everyone's list.

My mind is always roaming. I can think about a lot or a little depending on my company and what is going on in life at that moment. But on average, a lot of my time is spent thinking about how to improve my teaching and/or learning environment to help my students.

I'm usually exhausted on Friday nights, but I rarely sit at home...it's hard telling what I will do. Some Fridays I'm at the gym and most of the time I am hanging out with friends.

There are several qualities that I look for in a person, but I think communication and honesty are key components for a relationship to work. Also, I believe that building a strong friendship is important. Those are things that build a strong foundation in which to build a relationship. I believe that people are layered with different characteristics and flaws. Through experiencing one's company, the layers peel away and you get to know a person in a natural, unforced way.
