Say what I mean and mean what I say, am an optimist, sometimes talk too much, listen well, often lack restraint, can laugh at myself, care, will challenge you, am picky, value my time, have an insatiable appetite for knowledge, am easily inspired, know when I'm right, love when I'm wrong.

I work in marketing at a smallish agency and genuinely geek out over what I do - both the art and the science of it. Outside of work I like to wander, do new things, read the internet, read books, sing (poorly), dance (poorly), wet my whistle, converse with strangers, write, play with my dogs and recently come up with semi-creative DIY projects to decorate my apartment with new versions of old stuff.

I read a lot - currently reading Doghead, King Solomon's Ring and Exegesis. Some favorites are Kerouac, Coupland, Kant, Palahniuk, Welsh, Thompson, Chomsky, Orwell, and various ancient Greek men.

I'll watch anything and am a big fan of independent and documentary films. In the more mainstream space, my favorites include Gilliam, Tarantino, Van Sant, Coen brothers, Kubrick, Scorsese, Weir as well as anything clever, well written, inspiring or with a strong nostalgia appeal (ex. Stand by Me, Dead Poets Society).

Any music that makes me move, feel, sing or any combination of these...too much effort to list.

I like to know what I'm eating and only eat only foods that I like. Fresh fruit and spice (not necessarily together) are musts for me. No chains, no fast food, no mushrooms.
