Oh. So. Uh. Hey. Normally I would start out something like this by saying "My name is so-and-so and I live in such-and-such a place", but it kind of says that all up there already. Way to cock-block me, OkCupid. Fuck it, I'm going to say it anyways. My name is Sophia, and I live in El Paso, Texas. I currently go to UTEP, which is, you know... it's UTEP. Hopefully I'll be graduating in a year or so, with my Bachelors in English Literature. I'm a fairly laid-back person, except when I'm not. I'm a Mac person (even though I'm currently typing this on a PC) and a cat person (even though I have a dog). I love pillows, baking, comfy chairs, my headphones, science fiction, snooping through other people's things, and watching shows on the Discovery channel about serial killers. My goals in life are to ride in a hot air balloon and meet an Eskimo. I love wearing cardigans, and I put a lot of faith in small things. I love boys who wear hats and girls with freckles.

The whole academic thing, I guess. At one point in the near future I want to graduate, get out of El Paso, get my masters, work in a library, and live in an adorable little house.

I was walking to the kitchen right now, contemplating making a mix cd that had "Lights On" by The Pierces as the first song and "Lights Out" by Santogold as the last song, when I stopped dead in my tracks and said to myself, oh my god, does my okcupid profile say that I am good at making mixes? WHY DOESN'T IT? Because let me tell you, okcupid, I make fucking rad mixes. If you date me, I can guarantee you that I will make you approximately 900 mix cds, so that some day when we are broken up, you can find a box full of them and then be really sad about how awesome/crazy I am! I like to think ahead.
