My self-summary
I love people (well, MOST people). I'd rather be outdoors than in. I love to travel, although I don't get to do it as often as I like (one of my goals for this year and beyond). I work hard (refer back to previous lament). I'm coordinated. I don't normally watch sports unless it's with friends, but I can sure play 'em. I can even fake it if I find myself in a conversation with a bunch of dude-bros. I'm great in social settings…love to swap stories, talk about random things and trade laughs.

The right side of my brain often dominates, I have to admit…which sometimes makes me seem a bit, well…distracted, ha! I love design…love getting inspired by the amazing things people make (past and present). I'll get lost sometimes for hours digging through art blogs (talk about going down the rabbit hole!). I really enjoy providing support and inspiration for the people in my life, and look for the same in a friend. I'm quick to compliment if I see something great (I'm not into blowing sunshine where it doesn't belong).

My interests are all over the place, really. And I couldn't even begin to describe myself completely here in this venue. I'm definitely complex. Jock/nerd/artist/romantic/lumberjack/protector/loyal friend.
What I’m doing with my life
Mastering the harmonica. And in my spare time...attempting to draw the perfect circle.
I’m really good at
I can ride a bike backwards, stay underwater for nearly two minutes, BBQ my ass off and I've been told I'm a fantastic hugger.
The first things people usually notice about me
That they feel like they've known me for a long time. Oh, and that I resemble Will Ferrell (I disagree).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I do love reading when I have the time, and not ashamed to admit that I'll blow-through my son's fantasy books whenever he's not looking. Hunger games, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and such. (I've been known to read big boy books every now and then as well). I'm a sucker for design mags and Sunset. Killed my relationship with cable and downsized to Hulu/Netflix/iTunes...so it's "Fringe," or "Hey Ladies" or occasionally "Walking Dead." Love film, and watch almost anything when I can. I believe that music=life, and I've found stuff I enjoy in almost every genre. I'll generally eat anything slower than me (well, that's not entirely true, since I really have become addicted to farmer's markets, gluten-free items and documentaries about various aspects of our food-driven culture)...love trying new things, but find myself drawn most strongly to Latin food (clean Latin food I should say...).
The six things I could never do without
I've reflected on this and realized...I don't really need any THING. I'm fortunate enough to be able to gather "things" here and there that make me smile, make me look cool or perhaps make my life a tad more convenient. But truthfully, I think I'd get along just fine without 'em.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I'm going to shift my career so that I can work from home (and abroad)...with nothing but a laptop and a smile.
On a typical Friday night I am
Kickin' ass and takin' names.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Boxers, not briefs. Alright, alright...briefs at the gym. But only because I'm selective as to who gets to see my cowboy parts.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 28–45
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You smile at passers-by. You feel warm on the inside when you hear a kid cracking-up. You find yourself stooping to pet an animal before you even know what you're doing. Yeah...I think that's a good start.
