My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
August 2014:
Nature of the universe is that my OKC mail heats up when I am too busy to forge connections :(

I will be slow to respond as I am preparing for my role in Seattle Hempfest. So. Much. TO DO!!!!!!

~~~WARNING~~~
Rant section because I need to be clear and not waste anybody's time.
*First and foremost please know that I will not be someones secret. I live each day in the most open and honest manner as possible.*
*I will most likely not write you back if our match percentage is under 85%. If the questions have been answered honestly, the numbers are a fairly accurate indicator to compatibility.*
*I am not here for "hawt chat". I seek to meet real people who want to spend time with me. Life is too busy to not follow my bliss.*
*I have a lover, SocDoc, with whom I am committed to furthering a growing relationship with in spite of us living 3000 miles apart.
~~~Now back to the scheduled program~~~

I am 5'ish...hour glass figure. After a winter comfort food and beer I need to lighten up. Wanna go for a walk?

Important for me to share that I am involved with helping to reform marijuana laws. I have been a coordinator for Seattle Hempfest 20 years now. That said, I don't smoke everyday, all the time. I got shit to do and being high doesn't get me there.

I used to make pretty things for a living. Designer goldsmith by trade. Great to be paid to create stuff for others. I made bondage rope for a while which was fun but not intellectually stimulating.
I continue to be a creative gun for hire and am currently sewing a couture wardrobe for a friend as well as making custom jewelry for clients. I can even make men's suits and ties!

My grey streak is natural and comes with an interesting story. Kinda like Rogue from X-men. And I too have super powers! If you're nice I just may show you..
I know how to behave but prefer to be naughty (much more fun that way). Good natured mischievousness is more my style.

I truly appreciate individuality. Not much into pop culture as it is usually influenced by the media. Gardening and cooking are a few of my favorite past times. I also enjoy reading. Typically, I read periodicals and how to books. As a result I can even rewire a lamp all by myself!
My cooking ability has led me to have a small catering company as a side job. I was actually hired to feed Ralph Nader when he ran for president in 2000. He was disappointed the dessert wasn't chocolate. I guess caramel cream puffs just weren't his speed.

I rarely watch TV shows till they make it into syndication. If at all. In fact, I killed network TV and don't miss it a bit! I do have that electronic monitoring device for the occasional movie however.

The kind of guys/girls I like are usually non conformists with an artistic bent. The "average" clean cut type usually does nothing for me. I find geeks, artists and creative thinkers to be far more my style. Been trying to say no to musicians but it never works. That said, just be unique like everyone else ; ) Having your own passions in life is of utmost importance. As well as to not take yourself too seriously. Sometimes things are tough. I find laughter and levity make the rough days more live-able

I am talented, compassionate, and perky? Ugh.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I continue to seek new experiences to expand my horizons.

Concentrating on letting the universe provide me with what I truly need as opposed to putting energy into manifesting stuff that's not in my best interest. This is truly my biggest work in progress :)

Connectivity between individuals sustains my growth and enthusiasm. I never cease to be amazed at how most of the people I meet know some one I know.

I'm looking for a "work/job" path that leaves me more flexibility to enjoy time off spontaneously. Job hunting is more challenging than dating!!!

I am compelled to create perpetually.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am quite crafty/artistic. This is a blessing and a curse. I can make all kinds of things. Clothes, jewelery, food, pretty home, gardens...etc. Been accused of being able to spit in the corner and make it look good.

I excel at luxury tent camping.

Loquaciousness is somewhat dubious talent of mine. However I try to chat about interesting stuff. Been working on keeping my mouth shut and I can truly say I'm doing fairly well. I am really good at listening too.

Overthinking. Hence the loquaciousness. For me verbalization leads to clarity.

Conversing with strangers. I love random connections and conversations. Once again see loquaciousness. :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not sure but probably my grey streak, my bust to waist ratio, and my fuzzy coat or sweater. Oh and I'm short and I look much younger than my age.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Too many awesome books to list but just a few: The Red Tent, The Ethical Slut, Opening Up, The Guide to Getting it on and a large variety of cookbooks and books of a gemological/mineralogy nature. I really enjoyed "Cultivating Delight A Natural history of my garden" This book is like a fine french meal. So rich you can only have a little at a time and need time to digest and reflect before more.
Been reading books about chefs and their journeys to success. Most recent was "Life on the Line". Very compelling story of Grant Achatz, who won the James Beard award as he was battling tongue cancer. Yes, tongue cancer. Such an amazing story.

Ah...Music. Could go on for days. Portishead, Asylum Street Spankers, Queen, Infected Mushroom, Lovage, Massive Attack, Maktub, Tenacious D, Soundgarden, Garage a Trois, Beta Band, Boards of Canada, Johnny Cash, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Air, The Toadies, Henry Mancini, AC/DC, Zero 7, Death in Vegas, NIN, Beruit, Bonobo, Django Reinhardt, Thee More Shallows, Sneaker Pimps, Morphine, Trampled by Turtles, Devil Makes Three. Recently got back into Incubus (guilty pleasure) and REALLY diggin Snake River Conspiracy. Might be time to listen to classic rock again, or maybe I will wait a few more years.

Food is good in all of it's glory. Pan Asian, Indian, Italian, Thai, Ethnic fusion, Northwest Cuisine. And Sushi! Yummmy! Love to BBQ zucchini right out of my garden.
Been making Bacon chocolate chip cookies and must admit they are amazing. I had a culinary muse who is obsessed with bacon. Therefore I have been compelled to be very creative with the cured meat product he's so fond of.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Basic human needs exist but all other "items" are negotiable.

I could never do without my friends. I am very blessed to have an amazing set of dear people in my life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
EVERYTHING Well mostly. Working hard to just "BE" in the moment. Reliving the past and pre thinking the future doesn't serve me well. Not to say I don't work towards tomorrow being a better day as well as keep some past memories close to my heart. Especially the humorous ones.

The variables between "open" relationships and "poly" relationships. Merely semantics?
*UPDATE*
I have come to define the difference between poly and open to be when a caring relationship develops with more than one partner. Seems to be the most defining feature for me. Till a "relationship" happens it just being open to possibility.
I have also come to realize communication is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has different levels of input and output required to feel they are communicating effectively.

Why do I occasionally get mail from someone who closes their account 2 days later? Hurmmmm....

Doing girls. yum

After answering some of the questions and taking OKC tests I find myself pondering deeper algebraic equations involving great sex, lust, desire, love, needs, wants, freedom and creativity. So far the most important component seems to be communication. Gotta think about it some more however. Hmmmm.....

Mostly I spend time thinking about projects and events that I am producing.

And hot sex.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Who knows?!?? Sometimes it's a quiet night soaking in my clawfoot tub, other times, out on the town or at friends. Occasionally I'm catering or working on completing a project thats due. There is almost always music involved in some fashion.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am unabashedly kinky.

When I don't have a human bed companion I cuddle with a stuffed pony.

If you want to talk food, discuss metalsmithing and lost wax casting, geek out on gardening (I can sharpen your push mower!), discuss bondage technique or just see what's there. Don't worry...I won't bite....unless you want me to.
