My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am intelligent, perceptive, logical, and somewhat idealistic. I'm a good friend who is always willing to help with or discuss anything, and will do anything for others that is reasonably close to my capabilities.

I can be an insensitive person but it is rarely if ever due to malicious intent. My cold demeanor can be understandably misleading; I am actually very easy to talk to aside from the fact that I don't do small talk well. People who like me often seem attracted to the fact that I am willing to dissect anything, but I believe this evokes the opposite reaction in others.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a data entry job working for Connecticut shoreline newspapers that utilizes my strengths well and causes me little stress. I'm not an active person outside of work but will do just about anything for the sake of fun.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Philosophizing, rationalizing, logical thinking. I have above average all-around practical skills but do no one thing phenomenally well.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably that I'm not outwardly expressive, but that's a guess and I can't think of anything else.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.

Movies: Anything with Jack Nicholson (especially Chinatown and the Last Detail), various other off-beat stuff like Wayne's World, Aguirre, the Wrath of God or Repo Man.

TV: Star Trek. Older cartoons, like Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Dexter's Laboratory, anything else from that period. Most new TV is foreign to me but I like the Office. I also watch a lot of the NHL; New York Rangers mainly but I'll watch anyone.

Books: H.P. Lovecraft, and I read the Harry Potters. There are others I'll get around to someday. It's not that I dislike reading, I just can never get comfortable while doing it. Silly notion, I know.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Computer, music, friends, some other shit too, I'm sure.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I don't pay a lot of direct attention to my thoughts. My mind is usually focused on attaining the highest possible understanding of whatever presents itself to me, but that's a highly generalized assessment.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On the computer or at the mall with a friend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not quite as independent or confident as I let on. Those qualities do accurately describe me, but they don't translate as well when it comes to everyday life.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're a free thinker who wants to associate with a thoughtful individual, and won't be turned off by a possible slow start to a relationship or friendship.

If you are looking for someone who cares about status or ambition you will be thoroughly disappointed. That doesn't at all mean you shouldn't talk to me, just don't say I didn't warn you.
