My self-summary
I am a recent college grad who focused on theatre and film. I could watch movies all day every day and be happy, and while I love the classics, I'm not too pretentious for something goofy. I love good wine, especially pinot noir, shiraz, and a nice Mercier champagne, and cooking good food. I'm a vegetarian, but am not above cooking meat for others. I'm very liberal, possibly because I'm from Northern California and my mom's an old hippie, so I tend to be very live-and-let-live about people and their life choices. I have two tattoos, and should be getting my third soon. They're all hide-able, though, because I do theatre. So if you fear facial or cleavage tattoos, never you worry. I think tats are hot, but I completely understand people who don't get them.

I was raised on British comedy, so I appreciate a good dry wit, though laughing is always good. I've spent this past summer bumming around Europe and hope to travel even more in the future. I love animals, though currently have to get my animal fix from my sibling's dogs when I'm home. I'm serendipitous, and do things that scare me. I always have music playing in the background, everything from the Beatles to Jacques Brel, Lou Reed to Cat Stevens. Oh, and my mother's insane (in a pleasant way, I assure you). Did you ever see the show Murder, She Wrote, starring Angela Lansbury? I was named for that character. *Someone* watched too much TV while they were knocked up.

I don't do the club scene, but I love to meet new people. I'd love to hang out and discuss Shakespeare over coffee or catch a film, but having identical interests aren't necessary. Passion is the key. Love art history? Show me around a museum. Sports your thing? I can't promise not to be clumsy, but I'll try to learn flag football in the park. Show me your interests, and I'll show you mine.

Bonjour!

I am eccentric, passionate, and a thrill-seeker
What I’m doing with my life
I'm studying theatre and film at Wellesley College, an all-women's school outside of Boston.

Well, studying implies that I study. Mostly, I hang out with the Shakespeare Society an all-female acting troupe that sounds much lamer than it is. When we're not cross-dressing to perform the Bard, we're freak-dancing with each other while dressed in lingerie and listening to Madonna. And getting drunk. Very drunk.

When I'm not pretending to be a student and doing Shakes, I also write for The Wellesley News, where they let me watch bad movies and snark about them for 500 words each week. I enjoy that.
I’m really good at
-dressing like a man and doing Shakespeare, especially if it involves lots of fake blood

-spouting trivia memorized from years of IMDB and IBDB love

-bullshitting so that I sound really smart and/or prepared (my mum says that comes from her side of the family)

-learning foreign languages, or at least faking accents convincingly enough that people think I know them

-pretending to be more badass than I am

-angering my mother by getting things pierced or tattooed

-going into Martha Stewart mode and cooking full meals before swinging into patriarchy mode and demanding my friends get in the kitchen and make me pie

-writing screenplays in ten minutes flat and having my professor praise the amount of effort I put in

-quoting things for no one's amusement but by own, and often forgetting what I'm quoting in the process

-being an esoteric fuckhead
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told I have nice eyes, so we'll go with that as the "safety" answer.

But when it comes down to it, is it crud to say my boobs? Especially in Europe. It's like my boobs go on vacation, not me.

It means I got hit on by a 40-something garbage man. On duty. On the truck. Wearing an orange jumpsuit.

Um, I was tempted by that one, yes I was.

On a typical Friday night I am
I could be:

-Watching a movie in Tinkerbell pajamas while snuggling my fiance Timmy, who is a 5-foot-long stuffed alligator, or Eddie the International Cross-dressing Koala of Mystery, who is, well, a koala in a dress.

-Freak-dancing with Shakers to Madonna / jumping up and down to Bon Jovi

-Getting drunk with Haley

-Sleeping because I haven't all week

-Eating Jenny's apple crisp while shedding the blood of the innocent in God of War (on the easiest setting because I'm actually not cool at all) or making lots of friends in Katamari

-Being sexually harassed by Anna with a pool cue

-Pissing and moaning about being bored
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
One time I had an infection that may have been caused by three of my friends giving me intense hickeys that lasted three weeks.

My doctor called an infectious disease expert, in case my friends' sweet, sweet loving almost killed me. And eventually I had to go to the emergency room for it. Quality.

The doctor even asked me repeatedly if the hickeys were *consentual.* I failed to mention to her that I was wearing a bubble wrap dress at the time of the attacks. Best to let her imagination fill in the blanks.
