I enjoy playing
guitar, going to
shows, playing
video games, watching
intellectually challenging movies, going to picturesque places, and
mushrooms
haha
I think about humanity a lot; often times this means daydreaming of
existing in past and future times. Because of the impossibility of
this, I love attempting to experience it through movies and video
games.
I tend to view reality for what it really is, and because of this,
Im extremely cynical. Even so, I have a ridiculous sense of humor,
and I find seemingly random things to be hilarious.
Im sort of a hopeless romantic, regardless of the fact that I find
it extremely hard to trust women
My profile says Im bi, but I largely prefer women
I have no problem with gay people, but I strongly dislike the
"flamboyant gay culture," so if that describes you, we probably
wont get along
Ever since I was a little kid, I wanted to explore eeeeverywhere
and anywhere I could see. From reading my fathers massive National
Geographic collection, I quickly gained a ravenous hunger for
exploration. In 5th grade, my science class took a field trip to
the College of Charleston observatory, and I was breathless as I
gazed upon Saturn's rings. From that moment, I decided I wanted to
see every inch of this world, and the universe beyond. For awhile I
wanted to be an astronaut, dreaming of being able to see worlds
beyond comprehension; creatures so complex that we look like
insects in comparison. Because of that impossibility, I took to
exploring the amazing virtual worlds created for our entertainment,
such as Oblivion and the Legend of Zelda. But within our own minds
is a whole different plane of existence waiting to be reawakened,
filled with emotions that would leave you on your knees in passion
and awe, if you have to the heart to explore them. As for now I can
never traverse the cosmos, so now I delve deep within the mind.
Thats what it means to be a psychonaut
And here's where I do a rambling list of random shit:
Im 19, but Im still very much a kid. I miss being overwhelmed by
the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and that scrunching sound of
a newly opened pack of pokemon cards. Those were the fucking
days.
I come from a pretty diverse background of friends and experiences.
I dont try to fit into anything, it just meshes together. And thats
how it should be
The overwhelming beauty of the world brings me to silence time and
time again, but I haven't even seen a fraction of what I want to
see
I'm used to people leaving my life, whether they chose to or
not
Strawberry banana smoothies from Bolthouse Farms are the best
fucking drinks ever
I like to explore the depths of my mind, and try to find reason for
everything. This probably annoys a lot of people, but I find it
enlightening
It's not my way to hurt others, whether it be physically or
emotionally
I'm always playing my guitar: Jackson DKMG Dinky, transparent red
with EMG 81/85. It's my baby. Drop B tuning, son
I've always been a big fan of surrealism/abstract/fractal/fantasy
art. Not dragons and shit mind you, I'm talking about things the
mind can't easily comprehend
Got something for me to check out? Send it my way
Id like to say
guitar, but theres always room for
improvement

Two years ago, my best friend passed away, and i never fully
recovered from it. Additionally, all of my friends have moved away
to different colleges, so i get pretty lonely sometimes.
