My self-summary
There's not really enough text to summarize me, and honestly, there'd be no fun in that, anyway. Half of the fun of meeting someone new is learning about them, but you don't know if you want to get to know them, unless you know a little to start with, so here we go.

I'm pretty much a non-nerdy geek. I was pretty popular in all three of the highschools I went to, I had a pretty broad range of friends, and I went to three, because my family moved rather often. Not because we were a military family, nor were we in the witness protection program, but simply because that's my family. They moved a lot, and they were usually dirt broke.

Most of my life has been spent living in either cities, or suburbs. I've lived in New Jersey (Where I was born, in fact. That was Neptune, New Jersey, which means I'm pretty much out of this world.), Maryland, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, and now I'm living in South Carolina.

I'm a licensed massage therapist, but with the economy doing so badly, I had to switch over to other professions temporarily. I ended up working in a kitchen in a rather expensive restaurant, with absolutely no experience cooking. Quite literally, I couldn't even cook an egg when I started there. After my first three months of working there, I could cook you a mushroom and spinach-stuffed, cayenne-panko breaded broiled lamb shoulder, on a bed of garlic-sauteed spinach, with a perfect almond/chocolate souffle, topped with almond/vanilla custard.

Basically, I learn fast, and I love to learn new things. Nothing excites me more than learning something new, or figuring out how something works, other than perhaps reading a good book. I also spend a fairly decent amount of time on the computer, both learning new things, and gaming.

I enjoy writing, and I am fairly good at writing with great detail, but am especially good at writing action scenes. Unfortunately, most of my characters die at the end of any short story I write.

One of my little secret dreams is to move out into the country one day and have myself a farm. I pretty much have little daydreams of owning a few horses and trail riding through the woods. -I'm actually learning trail riding now. I've gotten control during a canter down, now I need to move beyond that. It's pretty thrilling, tearing along on horseback.-

Honestly, this is really only the tip of who I am, and no one wants to dig through a whole novel on someone. I am who I am, and I'm a generally nice guy, who doesn't let it go to the point where I get walked over. I'm bluntly honest most of the time, I hate to lie, I don't play games and I don't want to deal with the drama of people who play games. I can be a kid at times, I suppose, but I always stick to my responsibility, and if I make a promise, I will always keep it, even to my own detriment at times. To really simplify it, I'm just someone you have to get to know through talking to me.

I'm pretty much fine with just meeting friends on here, having someone to hang out with, maybe go grab a few drinks, or see a few movies, have some deep and stimulating intellectual conversations. If it goes beyond that, that would be cool. If it doesn't no big deal, at least I got to meet someone new, and learn something new. However, if someone is going to make me fall for them, they're probably going to be someone with a hint of innocence, but a lot of passion. Someone who has no problem expressing emotion and affection towards their man when they've got them alone. Someone who is capable of keeping up with me intellectually, and someone who doesn't mind me geeking out, or going off on a tangent, whenever I figure something new out and want to share it with them, or when they get me rolling on one of the subjects that I'm extremely knowledgeable about. Someone who simulates me intellectually, will likely stimulate me emotionally. If they can combine that with physical affection and a capability of making me feel wanted and important to them, then they've got a pretty good chance of getting my attention.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently working in a rather expensive restaurant. I'm a trainer, a prep cook, and am pretty much trained in every station there. I've done most of it, from expo to line cook. I started off there two years ago, not knowing anything about cooking, and got to the point I am today through a lot of hard work.

Before this job, I was a licensed massage therapist, until the economy took a dip. This is something I am going to be pushing back into, once the restaurant I work for stabilizes with employees a bit more, and I can start cutting down my hours.

Other than that, I really enjoy a good book, and I enjoy learning new things. Eventually, when I get some more free time, I plan on learning a few more languages.
I’m really good at
Computers, Cooking, Picking up new things, Writing. This is definitely a list I try to expand as much as I possibly can, whenever I can. I can speak enough french and german to insult people.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. Or the fact that I look pretty young for my age. Especially if I shave.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite food is Massaman Curry. I haven't found any places that sell a decent Massaman Curry in this area, though.

My favorite band is Polkadot Cadaver, and Zombie Girl is pretty awesome, too, but I listen to a pretty wide range of stuff, from country to rap. I DJ'd for a living for a while, so I've got a full terabyte of music on an external hard drive.

I don't really have any favorite shows persay, I watched American Horror story, I dig horror movies. I do watch anime, yes. And I play video games, but they're more enjoyable when they have a good story. I learn things rapidly, including game systems, which usually means I'll get extremely good at a game fast, and learn how to min-max things for optimum success. Pretty much, I'll play the game until I get all the story out of it I can, and then stop playing it, because I've gotten too good and it's gotten boring. No challenge means the game is worthless to me. Story keeps a game going, but without it, there's no reason to bother with it.

Some of my favorite books are "The name of the wind", "Dragon Weather", "Not exactly the three musketeers". Obviously, I prefer fantasy/medieval stories, preferably with little, or no, magic in it. I'm pretty into medieval history, as well, and will geek out hard if you get me talking about it.
The six things I could never do without
I'm adaptive, there's not really much that I could -never- do without, but there are some things that I just immensely enjoy.

A nice cup of earl grey, with a little honey and milk, no sugar.
A good book to read.
A little bit of affection.
Some intelligent discussion.
Food and liquids, you know, so I can live.
Clothing is definitely important. It's illegal to be naked in public, you know.
And my computer is pretty important, as is the internet. It's how I learn the majority of the new things I get to learn.
My truck is pretty great, too.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. If you want to get into specifics though, I think about life itself a lot. The path we're taking, and what we're going to do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably just getting home from work. Exciting, huh? If I get off early enough, I typically head over to the boathouse to listen to some live music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Is that there's not much to admit?

Not falling for it? Alright.

I'm a pretty dominant guy, and I don't really mind pain. In fact, sometimes, it's a good thing. I really dig scars, and I don't mind getting them, and I think they can be pretty attractive on a woman, as well. As far as anything else, the only way you're going to find out more, is to earn my trust and get to know me better.
