I am a dreamer, a doer, and a communicator.
My Self-Summary
I bristle with ideas, impatience and energy to wring my dreams from
thin air. I step out to go get my idea planted on ground - if i
stumble and fall, that doesn't matter. But ah, it does get lonely,
this chasing one's ideal to the exclusion of many pleasures of life
- laughter filled company, relaxing as though time didn't matter,
exchanging sillies late into the night.
What I’m doing with my life
For living out my sixties, I have taken on something the forties
would baulk at. In 2006, I paid good money to buy 18 acres of
abandoned land, where no food has ever grown, most of top soil has
run down the slope with rain and water is hard to come by. I have
told myself: 'let me
go green it and leave it lush'.
Our neglectful ways with the
environment are widely known to
everyone. We have assimilated the
inconvenient truths. We
realise we can little alter the larger global forces at work. We
feel helpless. What are we to do? What can we do intelligently to
influence others, without scaring them with too disruptive a plan?
What can we do under these circumstances? It is this context from
where I am trying to explore my personal response.
My project is an attempt to answer if true responsible, economic,
all satisfying
self-sufficiency is possible
working with
nature. I record my work at

I’m really good at
Communicative speech and writing, humour, ideas, planning,
mechanical
devices, fun,
energy issues, self-starts, real
estate, ideas for
land restoration, ferreting out
information... and
flirting
The first things people usually notice about me
Smart guy.
The six things I could never do without
Internet, an active project, money in the bank, silent spaces,
India - looking for the sixth: a lady who shares my views
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Ideas that can change
India, how to persuade the better off to
care for the neglected in India, what will happen to my project in
the long run, who will succeed me and put it to good use... and oh,
will I find a soul mate to walk my dream!
On a typical Friday night I am
At my computer in silent commune with the world
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I tend to cry at the movies
You should message me if
you are a woman, single, well above 50, fit, capable of working
independently, looking for an environment project to be involved in
in south India, can help me plan and build a team of volunteers-
and of course like my profile enough to want a relationship with
me!
