My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been living in Atlanta for most of my life. However, I love to travel and try to go to a different state/country every year. I think I'm one of the nicest and loyal people you'll ever meet.

I am an avid photographer.

I have a day job that pays the bills. For everything else, I let my creativity flow through reading, writing, traveling (I've been to twenty-two countries and forty of the fifty states) and photographing the world around me!

Also, over the past year and a half, I've made fitness/exercise a priority in my life. I now hit the gym 4 to 5 days a week. I used to despise running and didn't see a point in it. Now I regularly run loops around my local park. I am currently training to run the Atlanta half-marathon later this year (Thanksgiving Day).

The kind of lady I'm drawn to: she is free spirited, authentic, embracing of what life has to offer. She's both an opportunist and a passionate dreamer. She's not afraid to show her nerdy side in a game of trivia. She loves to laugh and loves to make those around her laugh as well.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
A few things concurrently happening in my life:

1) I work downtown and live in Buckhead.

2) I want to watch every film that's won Best Picture at the Academy Awards. I haven't made a good dent into this movie adventure. While it is on hold, another list I'm crossing off is Lena Dunham's favorite Criterion films:

3) I want to visit and photograph every MLB ballpark in USA/Canada. I'm currently 10/30 on this adventure, having seen the stadiums in San Francisco, New York (Yankee Stadium), Toronto, San Diego, Seattle, Los Angeles (Dodger Stadium), Chicago (Wrigley Field), Tampa Bay, Boston, and of course, many, many times at Turner Field. Sadly, I've never gotten the chance to see the old Fulton County Stadium in person.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
A not-so-random order:

1) opening jars of pickles
2) correcting your grammar and spelling mistakes
3) remembering dates and numbers

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Allow me to be both eccentric and slightly superficial here:

1) the Internet
2) my indefatigable curiosity
3) my books and the notes I've made in the margins (marginalia FTW)
4) at least six hours of sleep per night
5) coffee
6) a regular exercise routine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where my next travel adventure will take me.

Or when I'll make the plunge to go solo with my own business.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either getting some drinks/dinner in Buckhead or making it a Netflix movie night at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
What an odd thing to reveal online, for all the world to see.

This one is better left a mystery: makes for a much more interesting/honest/memorable discussion on a first date.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If, over the course of your life, you've realized that experiences matter more than objects/possessions...

If you don't take yourself too seriously but still have long-term goals/ambitions...

If you've made it a habit to move around: running, hiking, or otherwise exercising on a regular basis.

If you've got the entrepreneurial spirit with you...

If this quote resonates with you: "I want to be a human being, not a human doing."

If you have a competitive side and wouldn't mind embarrassing the guy in trivia, scrabble, or feats of athletic endurance...

I should note that after a few messages on this site, I prefer to meet with people in person. I'm down to doing anything fun and non-ordinary, so the more interesting the place where we can feel more at ease (less supericial) at the first encounter, the better. I want to get to know the real you.

Please do NOT message me if your favorite book(s) are one or more of these: Fifty Shades of Grey, Twilight series, Hunger Games. Just a boundary I have to set with regard to my preference of meeting intelligent women...

So if anything on my profile has piqued your interest and you want to know more, message me!
