I am a curious person trying endlessly to understand the world around me through the use of science. I am primarily interested in computers, discrete mathematics, economics, and law.
I have a criminal mind and instinctively think about how to manipulate any system I interact with. That said, I never apply these skills to do harm. However, when legal I actively try to optimize systems to my best interests. Some examples include airlines, ISPs and other communication providers.
This interest supports my research in computer science and game theory, where I try to design systems that are resistant to manipulation. My interest in formal normative systems and the manipulation thereof also extends to interest in law and thoughts about how to manipulate the legal system.
I am a firm believer in the openness of information. I am an active supporter of the free software movement, and contribute to wikipedia. I am also in support of limiting the scope of copyright. This belief in open information is one of the reasons I use only Linux and refrain from paying for software.
My favorite TV Show is MythBusters. In the realm of fiction, my favorite TV shows include House, Law and Order, and CSI. I don't watch that much TV though, as I prefer to engage in more interactive activities.
Relationship-wise, I am very open minded and like to experiment. I'm heteroflexible and polyamorous. If you don't know what those are -- ask.
Also, sexual orientation is not easy to specify in only one of three options. I identify myself as 1 on the Kinsey Scale, and my Klein Grid is:
A 2 2 4 (Sexual Attraction)
B 2 2 2 (Sexual Behavior)
C 2 2 2 (Sexual Fantasies)
D 1 1 4 (Emotional Preference)
E 4 4 4 (Social Preference)
F 2 4 4 (Heterosexual/Homosexual Lifestyle)
G 1 2 3 (Self Identification)
Seeing as many people write their personality types, I seem to be INTJ.
I am curious, direct, and honest
