Your Notes
Edit your notesI am marvelous, olive-skinned, and semi-rational.
My Self-Summary
As myself, I know very well what I'm like, but I find that even with that intimate and long-term experience, I'm not particularly consistent with what I expect. Perhaps rational is too strong a word....
P.S.: I tend to think that's true for most humans
What I’m doing with my life
Wasting too much time on OKC. A year ago I had great fun taking the IQ adventure test. Here's my score: http://www.okcupid.com/iqadventure?describe=Math+%28116%29&score=9541006
More to come, someday, maybe.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Last year, I was enjoying Michael McGarrity's New Mexico cop-with-a-long-distance-marriage-to-a-female-military-officer mysteries and Stephen White's Boulder, Colorado psychologist-married-to-an ADA-with-MS mysteries.
NON-FICTION: "Summer for the gods : the Scopes trial and America's continuing debate over science and religion " by Edward J. Larson. A great read and an insightful window into the world of Christian evangelism. Very relevant today if you wonder how those folks at the health care town hall meetings can possibly believe all this stuff you know absolutely isn't true.
I'm waiting for the library to tell me that the books about genetics I reserved after reading Michael Crichton's last book, Next, are ready to pick up. Oops, I have to put on reserve again, missed picking them up. (Larson, above, was one of these.)
Movies: With an 8 & 12 yr. old, I'm truly expert in G, PG, Disney and old cartoon & sitcom. Not so much on current, real movies, until (my kids are older &) I get a chance to catch up again.
Music: that list goes on forever, but I can no longer tolerate anyone playing bluegrass within 50 miles. Rilo Kiley is a hero. I just listened to Seal's Soul CD (a b'day gift). I liked it but it made me long for the originals: Curtis Mayfield, Otis Redding, James Brown when he was younger, etc.
More coming here too!

Actually, I'm wondering if OKC can help me find some new guy friends as well. Since I've been caught up in career, school, & parenting the past few years, I've had little time to make new friendships or maintain them until now.
I'll probably say even more here, eventually.
