I love to make music! But like everything else, I don't do it enough: spending time with my friends, ice skating, drumming, salsa lessons, karaoke, DDR, Rock Band, watching TV, seeing a movie, live improv, Ultimate Frisbee, 80's-themed bars, cycling, and TMLMTBGB are just a few of the MANY things I might be doing on a given weekend afternoon or evening. Or weekday, who knows!

What I’m doing with my life
Structural
engineer for a civil engineering firm. I work in Chicago, near
Park Ridge, designing bridges. I also work weekends for the
White Sox in the
summer, on the Scoreboard Operations production crew.

Books: I don't have the attention span required to read an entire book, so i stick with Chicago Tribune editorials and magazine articles. I'd love to get a subscription to Rolling Stone, but thanks to the internet I'm too spoiled to *pay* for a magazine subscription.
Movies: Shoot, I'll watch - and enjoy - just about anything. The list of movies I disliked might be more insightful. All I can think of right now is that Russian submarine movie that was supposed to be amazing and it totally sucked. That and Girl Next Door - we went to a $2 theater to see that movie, and we STILL wanted our money back!
Food: Greatest pub I've found is Handlebar. I enjoy vegetarian places like Irazu, Earwax, Chicago Diner, and Lake Side Cafe. And I'm a total pushover for good deep dish pizza, Lou Malnati's being my personal favorite. But ALL pizza is good!
