I would like to think of myself as very laid-back, yet ambitious when I find something I'm passionate about. I love learning about people and their life stories and most of all, I love helping people, especially kids which has lead me to my profession. I try to live life like it was my last day so that if anything were to happen (God forbid), I can say that I lived a good life, I have influenced others in a positive way and I have made a difference (may be small but a difference nonetheless. I believe in the power of simplicity and simple yet profound lessons of relationships. And the simple things in life make me happy. I don't need to be whined and dined with a $300 bottle and an expensive meal to be impressed. All that matters is being in good company and that can be almost anywhere.

I would also like to think that I'm much different then your typical NY girl (Of course I'm making an unfounded generalization here). For one, I don't care how much you make or if you have a lot of money. As long as you are doing something that makes you happy, doesn't overly consume your life and are truly satisfied with your career, then that works for me. Second I don't play relationship games. It's deceiving, a waste of time and is meaningless.

In a relationship, I can appreciate something that is meaningful and that has substance. What is key is complete honesty, good conversation and respect. I'm really looking for someone I can actually have an intelligent conversation with yet still feel comfortable being silly with every once in awhile.

I think that we should do our best to enhance all areas of our lives: appearance, intellect, humor, health, and everything should be balanced. I always admire someone who is one step ahead of me but that other person should be open to learning things from me as well. I want something that is simple, that is not false and that is meaningful. And always have fun as well.
