hey! my name's erica, I'm 21 years old and live in the uncc area.

I'm a student at UNC Charlotte, I have less than 2 years to go on my Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies with a Concentration in Mass Media and a Minor in Journalism.

I don't know what I want to do when I graduate, I just know what fields I'd like to go into. All I really know is I have to get the hell out of here first.

I would love to do something in film or tv production, maybe a PA or editing scripts. I also have a love for Public Relations, that's still a possibility.

I'm a free-spirited person. I'm very open-minded and opinionated. I love thinking about the world on a spiritual level.

I love my politics. If you can keep up with me in an intelligent debate then you have my attention;) haha I will respect anyone who will defend what they believe in and what they are passionate about, even if I disagree with them. However, my biggest pet peeve is when people talk shit and can't back it up.

Even more so than politics, I love good entertainment <3

I think being a film critic is one of the most.awesome.jobs.ever. I absolutely adore movies.

I like to party every now and then... i like meeting new people and trying new things.

I'm a leo--loyal, passionate, fun, ambitious, etc...

I can be sarcastic, witty, clever when I want to be.

My biggest talent is my writing, which is also a weakness because I get so enamored by own genius I fail to see how anyone can criticize it. haha

Being a Communications major, I will most likely judge you if you cannot spell correctly, speak correctly, or use bad grammar. Not saying we're perfect, but I do pay attention to that shit.

books: Harry Potter series, Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird, Atonement, Shakespeare. unfortunately being in school makes me want to read for leisure less and less.

movies: Little Miss Sunshine, Citizen Kane, Titanic, Blow, Cruel Intentions, Ocean's 11, Harry Potter series, Pirates of the Caribbean series, Walk the Line, Animal House, Bourne trilogy, Snatch, Burn After Reading, Pineapple Express, The Dark Knight, The Prestige, Superbad, Knocked Up, Transformers, Catch Me if You Can, Top Gun, Romeo+Juliet, Star Trek, etc.etc. i could keep going. if the movie inspires emotion, its good.

tv: entourage, friends, sex and the city, weeds, the daily show, project runway, 30 Rock, Family Guy, the office, south park

music: my ipod is so random. i love music of all kinds, except for really hard metal rock/goth.

food: i love italian and japanese. and my family's southern cooking is amazing.
