Hi! My name is Eric. All there is to say about me probably could either fit into 5 lines or not fit into this space at all, but I will attempt some of each.

I fear its time for the much needed edit to this profile. This edit is the edit that has been coming since late Spring, I guess. But, well... It will all make sense as you read.

I love Cupid. The quizzes, the the questions and the people are hours of fun. I love logging in to find emails from word nerds, Rennies, poets, free minded literary souls. This is the one site in the world where a "match" means something. It isn't a matter of "you are local and fit my cup size preference (which I don't actually have... breasts are beautiful in all shapes and sizes)"... it is a matter that anyone over a 65% match or so (in the match section, not the friends section, which is weird) no matter where you live, no matter your sexual orientation or current dating status... is going to have amazing amounts of things in common with me.

I have a feeling I will be deleting a good bit of this profile info, so future visitors won't know exactly what those things are, but know that if we are over 65% match, you would have read my profile and said, "Holly cow! We are IDENTICAL!"

I have met MANY wonderful women on here, more recently than EVER, but I have found between my artWork and assorted curveballs life has thrown me recently, I am not at a place for dating. My mind just isn't focused on the dating scene and I don't want anyone getting the wrong impressions on here and having me let them down.

I am still every bit open to meeting and making new friends. You don't even have to be local. I enjoy long emails or short funny emails or emails that just say, "Hey, I'm still alive and still value your friendship". If you are in that over 65% group, you know what I like to talk about and you know you have that perfect blend of snarktastically intelligent wit that it doesn't matter WHAT we are talking about (be it sex or wine or love or poetry or music or philosophy or world cultures and religions... or whatever) it will be fun and humorous and worth the read and worth a response.

As long as you are honest with yourself.

And, I find so many people are so much more honest when they feel they are getting to know a friend instead of auditioning as someone's next gf.

I am still interested in meeting local people for drinks and "hanging out"ness. I enjoy friends and I have found along my path that being surrounded by great friends is better than having a million gfs. I just happen to enjoy female friends. It doesn't mean I sleep with all of my friends, nor does it mean I sleep with none of them... it just means I find the company and conversation of women to me MUCH more fulfilling, entertaining and intelligent.

I had said before that I am looking for models for my artWork (there will be more info on that in the "what am I doing with my life" and "you should message me if" sections)... I am still looking for models... any size, any shape, any color, any age (over 18).

Thank you all for reading the update and thank you all (who do) for saying "hi" anyway. I know most of you are on here looking for Mr Right... and... with the greatest degree of modesty I can muster... I believe on paper to most of you I resemble Mr Right... and I'm flattered that I have found so many women on here who believe that. So, I will understand if you are too busy on that quest to bother writing to me, but... if you see how well we match and would love a new friend and/or penpal... cool... write me... I WILL respond.

And... to all of my existing friends on here... keep writing... I love your emails and I believe from our conversations that this should change nothing

Just recently got sparked back into my visual work and I am creating more now than I have in YEARS! I have a number models shot already and work created from each of them. I am always interested in shooting others. If you have any want or desire to be immortalized in art, message me. I'm not some creep who is claiming to "make you a star in modeling" or who just wants to oggle neked women. I am an artist and my new work deals more with form than figure (meaning the human element is no more important than the background elements) it is not about a person IN a setting, but more a person as PART of the setting... integrated INTO nature...

I am looking for models of all shapes, sizes and colors... There is not a "that look" that I have in mind. The human form comes in a million varieties and I enjoy showcasing each for what it is and how it flows and for the assets it has to offer my work visually.

Itemized lists of a superlative nature get overlooked by the quick scroller... hence the short list which gives you the general idea...

"do without" that's such ODD wording... grin... but I like it better than "live without"... though... as anyone who's read the noteBook that is my life.... yep... I'll be curled up there on the stretcher in my cool jammies... and we all KNOW it... grin

love... mountain dew... sex... music... HOPE... art

but seriously... if you were to step inside the tempest that is my mind, you would realize that I think of so many things all at once that you could never pick out three very clearly... I can... but... I've lived with me for quite sometime, so I'm used to it by now...

oh... and the fact that I need to stop updating profiles like this (AGAIN!) and actually finish one of the novels I've started and get the damned thing published... someday... I swear!

More on Modeling for those interested: I'm not to the point where I feel I should use a dating site to "chase women down" and solicit them "hey baby... you look like the model sort"... so, if I contact you and don't ASK YOU to model (which given where I am right now, I probably WON'T)... it doesn't mean I don't want you to model... it means I figure if you haven't asked me about my art or my work or expressed any interest in modeling... that you don't have a desire.

SO

If you have the desire... say something. Don't fear... fear which keeps us from experiencing opportunities is a regrettable emotion. If you are what society deems GORGEOUS or "perfect"... I want you for my work. If you are what society deems "different" I want you in my work. If you dodge society's radar completely... I want you in my work. There is no "too tall or too short or too skinny or too wide... or too old (there is however a "too young"... but I don't think they allow children on this site, so we should be safe)... I am recording people as people... the human form and the beauty it contains in all forms.

I may get to the point where I come right out and ask... but for now, I want to respect this site and have you know that if I approach you, it is because I am interested in YOU and not just looking to see your boobies and click some pictures. But, obviously, if I am interested in you, I would love for you to pose for me.
