I am a teacher in training working in Baltimore City. Been in the dating scene for a while, and to be honest, its a bit tiring. Looking for a little motivation ;-)

I don't know how else to say this so I will just put it out there to save some time for everyone. I usually don't date white men, not saying not to bother, but dont be offended if you don't get a response. just being honest. Its a preference like anything else. That being said, if your pics involve copious amounts of liqour bottles, brightly colored hats, or your face in a woman's boobs, you also need not waste your time. if offended by any of the above, sorry, I keep it 100. if you are amused by what you just read, feel free to continue :-)

I work during the week in a special needs school with high schoolers. I was recently accepted into a rigorous masters program with the Urban Teacher Center and I will be starting that this coming summer to complete two Masters degrees in two years. Other than that, taking life one weekend at a time.

Artsy things, nerdy things, and being random as hell. I like to have difficult discussions about the evils of religion, the difference between hip hop and radio rap, and how much social constructions suck.

At work: that I act like I'm in charge
At home: that I say what's on my mind
Out and about: my hips? Probably my hips.

I love historical fiction. I read pretty much anything I can get my hands on.

TV: Bones, Hannibal, House, Masterchef, Hells Kitchen, Family Guy, Avatar, and ghost shows! history channel, monk, the Office, the Tudors, Star Trek (Voyager and Deep Space Nine).

MUSIC: don't even know where to start. Indie, r&b, hip hop (NOT radio rap), new age, musical sountracks, rock, Gothic rock, electronics and dub step are in there somewhere too.
