I'm a huge reader. The worst thing, for me, about grad school, is that I have less time to read for pleasure.
I'm a fan of quality movies and television shows. That being said, I have an equal (maybe even greater) capacity to enjoy not-so-quality movies and television shows. I love Wifeswap. So much. Also, Hot Tub Time Machine.
I am very fond of animals.
I have a tattoo of John Steinbeck's pigasus letter stamp on my left arm. Steinbeck's not my all time favorite author (although I do like him) but reading of East of Eden in ninth grade made me realize I wanted to pursue a career that involved literature. I'm still not entirely sure how I'm going to do that. Also, I just straight up like pigs.
I love baking, although I don't have much of a sweet tooth. It's a dilemma. I am a pretty damn excellent baker, I've been told.
Everything is funny to me. My cousin once told me that a movie of my life would involve a montage of me laughing at inappropriate moments.
Lastly, one night I was in an existential, gloomy, funk, and this comic pulled me out of it. For some reason, this seems significant:
