I'm an artist/college student living in west LA. I spend most of my time working, either on school projects, art commissions, or web design.

I'm a huge geek and tend to gravitate toward people who are also geeky. I'll talk your ear off about video games and scifi movies/tv shows.

I come off as a little abrasive, but I'm actually embarrassingly close to a teddy bear when I meet people. I tend to hide this behind sarcasm, though.

I'm currently attending art school to later pursue a career in animation/storyboarding or art direction. I also work as a freelance artist in both digital and traditional medias (mostly digital painting] and traditional oil painting), but I sometimes do website design and coding as well as odd jobs on the side.

Most of my favorite books are historical nonfiction, but aside from that, I really enjoy classical literature, fantasy, and folklore. My favorite books are Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass, and (embarrassingly enough) Harry Potter.

Most movies I love are Disney and Studio Ghibli movies because I'm a big animation nerd, but my two favorite genres outside of animation are action and monster movies. I also love pretty much any Tarantino flick.

I have a lot of favorite tv shows (I know that's not asked, but whatever, you're getting it). Some of them are Arrested Development, Deadwood, Futurama, Doctor Who, 30 Rock, IT Crowd, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

Most of what I listen to is either something that's been on NPR's All Songs Considered, hiphop/dance music, or folk music. My current favorites are Joanna Newsom, Mountain Goats, and Bob Dylan.

With food, I'm pretty much happy with anything. Really the only kind I don't like is spicy food. Two of my favorites are BBQ ribs and Japanese curry.

A lot of what I think about is work because most of what I do is work. But at least with my line of work, that means I get to think about different ways of communicating an idea or what kind of paints I'm going to buy next.

Aside from that, I'm usually thinking about something I've recently read, what I'm going to do for the week, something girly like when I'm going to go shopping next, or something weird like my unhealthy crushes on Keira Knightley and Hayden Panettiere.

On Friday, I'm usually hanging out with friends, going out to see a movie, or painting for myself.

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here is that my two biggest celebrity crushes, David Bowie and Alan Rickman, are the same age as my father.

This can be interpreted as me liking older men. Or being a terrible lech. You decide!
