My self-summary
Update 6/2014: I am a grad student living on the south side where I just completed my first year. I'm working on a Master of Divinity degree; If you're not sure what that is, just ask!

I'd love to meet people for friends, dates, and maybe more, but I'm not in any hurry to be in a relationship. I am Christian and pretty serious about it, but this does not mean I am narrow-minded or bigoted. This might scare some guys away, but take a chance, get to know me.

For those that are interested in the Meyers Briggs score, I'm an ISFJ. If you're familiar with the Enneagram, I am a 4 with a 5 wing, when relaxed I lean toward 1 and when stressed I lean toward 2. Take that for what it's worth.

I'm random...There's a lot that I could write here, but it would be the typical "hang out with friends, go to movies, listen to music, eat, drink, blah, blah, blah..." who doesn't like to do those things? So, yeah...I enjoy all the regular things people like to do...

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME:
My favorite color is green, with purple and orange close behind
I think my best physical feature is my lips
I play the accordion
I'm obsessed with the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"
I put brown sugar and cinnamon in my coffee
I love to bake
I have 4 tattoos....but want more
I put fruit in my water
I like walking barefoot in the grass
I don't like to drive
I like my middle name more than my first
I could live without beef
My favorite fruit is banana (go figure)
I go to movies by myself
I love to read...just don't have the time to read for pleasure
I cry when I'm upset
I like cheese
I don't like wearing shoes, but I have about 40 pairs
I like to cook, but prefer to bake
I'm hungry almost all the time
What I’m doing with my life
For the most part, I'm studying, reading, writing, and just trying to live life to the fullest and enjoy what comes my way.
I’m really good at
Whipping up a batch of homemade pancakes (I've heard they're pretty awesome! Maybe I'll make some for you). Putting things in alphabetical order, like my movie list below. Doing laundry, cleaning, and being domestic in general. I've been told I'm going to make someone a really great "wife" someday. Making people laugh. Sewing; I make a lot of my own clothes. I can make, and tie a bow tie.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile, eyes, sense of humor, and the shoes I'm wearing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'll list authors instead of books:
Lillian Daniel, Sara Miles, David Sedaris, Hill Harper, Keith Boykin, Edger Allen Poe, J.M. Barrie, Truman Capote, C.S. Lewis, Emily Dickinson, George Orwell, Harper Lee, Shakespeare, (I'll add more as they come to mind). And who could forget Dr. Seuss!

Movies:
Amelie, August Rush,The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, The Blind Side, Breakfast At Tiffany's, Bridesmaids, The Bucket List, Casablanca, Charlotte's Web, Dumbo, Finding Nemo, Finding Neverland, Fried Green Tomatoes, Holiday Inn, It's a Wonderful Life, Lean on Me, The Long Long Trailer, Mr. Holland's Opus, Music of the Heart, Night at the Museum, The Pianist, The Pursuit of Happyness, Rent, The Secret Life of Bees, Secret Window, Seven Pounds, Shakespeare in Love, Sister Act 1 & 2, Sleepy Hollow, The Soloist, Steel Magnolias, West Side Story, White Christmas, The Wizard of Oz, Where the Wild Things Are.

Shows: I Don't watch too much TV, but I enjoy:
I Love Lucy, Golden Girls, Big Bang Theory, Project Runway, and anything on Food Network or HGTV.

Music:
I love all kinds of music from dance to French pop. Some artists I'm really into now are:
Aloe Blacc, John Legend, Adele, Carla Bruni, Christina Perri, Kristin Chenoweth, Lenny Kravitz, Edith Piaf, KD Lang, Donny Hathaway...
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order:
God
Faith
Nutella
Music
Friends
Moisturizer (especially during these Chicago winters)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I'm going to survive grad school. What the enigma is in Elgar's Enigma Variations. If I should hang my cardigans or fold them. How many dates must one go on before he is considered to be "seeing someone". Also, how to make a really good cup of coffee (having a Keurig helps).
On a typical Friday night I am
I could be staying in cooking a nice dinner for myself or a few friends, enjoying a movie, or curling up with a good book or movie and a glass of wine.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a clown. No, really, I am a legit clown. I get paid to dress up and make people laugh. If you're afraid of clowns...well...I won't dress up around you.

Oh, and I sit when I pee.
