I was born and raised in the Boston area, and I guess you could say I'm a bit of a city girl - I walk fast, talk fast, and can sometimes get a little impatient...but I have a great sense of humor about myself, and love when people call me out on my crazy.

I'm a little old-fashioned when it comes to dating. I prefer meeting in person to texting and want a guy who will make the first move. If you hold the door open for me and do other old-timey chivalrous things, you're already winning.

I'm looking for someone who loves to travel (I'm obsessed with England) and go on adventures (spontaneous road trips to amusement parks are the best), but also wouldn't mind spending a lazy weekend with me and a Netflix marathon. I swear, Doctor Who is a really good show.

I love reading travel memoirs so I can seethe with jealousy about places I want to go, but if we're talking fiction - love Harry Potter, anything by Gregory Maguire, Life of Pi, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil...definitely don't have time to read as much as I used to.

TV - Lost, Arrested Development, Party Down, Criminal Minds, Friends, Parks and Rec, Community, Doctor Who, New Girl, Gilmore Girls, The Office, 30 Rock, murder/crime documentaries, so many more that I know I'm missing...
