My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Dreamer, Slacker. A little vain. Doesn't like complete sentences. Likes to party, sometimes too much. Crass, sometimes uncouth. Vulgar. Ephemeral. Obsessive. Compulsive. Easily Addicted. Hard to fool, even if you don't realize it. Loves easy, loves hard. "I like to think I'm an easy person to sleep with" and that doesn't mean what you might think. Enjoys watching the tiny, beautiful things in life so much sometimes. Lucky, and tries to remember it.

I am ephemeral, loquacious, and unhinged

If the three adjectives don't clue you in, shh....*don't tell*...
I wrote this summary forever ago. But I like it.
Deal with it. Rock and roll.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently left a stable but soul-sucking job. I'm hoping to take this time to heal and grow, and soon... get my cosmetology license and begin exploring a creative career. For the moment, I've gone back to slinging coffee for the ducats.

I always dreamed of having a lot of animals, and now I do. (I always identified with St. Francis of Assisi, maybe I'll get cool stigmatic super powers soon!) At the moment, I have three orange kittehs, a fox snake, and a hedgehog. They're almost all rescues. I realize this makes me a bit of a crazy person, but I can't stop trying to hug every cat. That being said, I realize that I'm above capacity for pets and won't be adding any.

Witchcraft for me is a lifestyle, not a hobby. It is a craft, so there are a lot of interesting creative elements but it's just as much (if not more) studying and making choices that reflect a personal moral code.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Understanding and then figuring out that I've really just bungled the whole lot of it and then finally realizing I may have come to a separate but profound realization.
The first things people usually notice about me

Oh, the hell if I know. Strange question, isn't it?

* Anything by Paulo Coehlo, Stephen King, David Sedaris, Neil Gaiman, Chuck Palahniuck, Bret Easton Ellis, and soooo many others. Right now I'm reading the Song of Ice and Fire series.

* Honestly, just far too many to get into. I'm very into horror, exploitation, foreign and independent film, and anything with more integrity than box office blockbuster appeal.
I'm watching way more televised series than I have in the past right now. Netflix is to blame, but I know I could go without constant scripted programming. If I had to.
I can stop whenever I want.
. Buffy the Vampire Slayer will always rule my world.

* Amy Winehouse and Elliot Smith are my Queen and King. Aaliyah, Neko Case, and Trina hold court as well. On heavy rotation lately: Beach House, Lana Del Rey, Robyn, The Knife, Fever Ray, jj, Little Dragon, MIA, The Gossip, Purity Ring, Gillian Welch, First Aid Kit, Dan Reeder, Ray LaMontagne, Grimes, Lykke Li, and The XX. Perfume Genius!

* I've been a vegetarian for close to three years now, and I'm loving it. Its totally a personal thing...I don't judge people who eat meat and I'm not uncomfortable being around it. One of the fun benefits has been that I've become more adventurous when it comes to eating and trying new things. I looove to cook, just need to make more time to do it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
* my family, friends, and pets (I have several "niece and nephew" dogs and cats)

* time to meditate and get my witch on

* books to read

*games (video, card, roleplaying, anything)

* old man sweaters and sexy underwear

* bread and cheese
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
* indomitable Virgo to-do lists involving changing all of sorts of things in my life

* films and and the people who craft them

* what the moon is up to

* checking for notifications on my phone or laptop. There is a both a constant anxiety and strange soothing balm.

* how third shift messes with my already jacked up sense of time
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either starting a weekend of work

Down for some sort of adventure that could sweep me away till Monday evening.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm an open book, really. If you want to know something, I'll probably tell you. If something is on my mind, I'm likely to tell you even if you don't ask about it.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're open-minded and honest, have a sense of humor (especially an off-kilter one), and you treat others (even anonymous online others) with respect.

I love chatting about all kinds of things. I don't have the heart to list the bajillions of movies and artists that I like, so message me if there's someone or something you have a sneaking suspicion I might like too...or need to be introduced to.
