My self-summary
Lets see, Im a self-taught machinist, computer geek, web programmer, and proud geek.

Im a pretty damn good machinist, a good CNC Programmer, a mediocre computer programmer, compulsive junk-collector and tinker.

Im not quite as socially awkward as most geeks, but definately not perfect. But thats okay, after all its the old Hedgehog's Dilemma.

Im happiest when Im building something completely insane from junk parts. For example, my computer chair that has the motors and base from a power adjustable car seat.

I am geeky, unique, and jittery.
What I’m doing with my life
Attending Ivy Tech for CNC Machining, trying to put the final stake in the heart of my anxiety disorder. Probably digging things out of trash and fixing them, or building crazy contraptions with them.
I’m really good at
Well...Im decent at many things but great at none, but Ill try...

Im a machinist, computer repair geek, web programmer, and I have a special place in my heart for a spirited debate.

Invention and creation are my strong points. I wake up in the middle of the night and have to get up to scrawl some idea or other in a notebook quite frequently. Working with metal in a machine shop is my zen, I lose track of time creating even the most boring objects.
The first things people usually notice about me
Er...Im not exactly sure...My lack of hair? My enormous goatee? I like to think that I have nice eyes, but really who knows?

I have a great radio voice, in fact I DJ on net radio now and then. Sometimes it suprises people that a skinny geeky guy has a deep radio voice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Illuminatus! Trilogy, Fight Club, Neal Stephenson, Phillip K Dick, William Gibson, Bruce Sterling. I also have a soft spot for non-fiction, my personal favorite on my shelf being "Code and Other Laws of Cyberspace" by Lawrence Lessig.

Fight Club, Falling Down, Office Space, Goodnight And Good Luck, and anything else that actually hides meaning in your average hollywood crapfest.

I listen to almost anything but country, but I particularly enjoy metal, punk and anything else that gets you energetic. Ive been a Nine Inch Nails fan for years and years, and lately have been getting more into techno.
The six things I could never do without
Computers My bookshelf My creativity Hope (Difficult to find at times)

I suppose I should include air and water and food...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Mechanical designs, politics, the piss-poor condition of humanity, how to pass my classes.
On a typical Friday night I am
What else would a geek be doing? At home reading a book or hacking away at something...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Still battling anxiety disorder, a lovely little condition that gives you panic attacks at random times, or when you get too stressed out.
