My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've come to realize how important humor is for me in building relationships with people, so I decided it should be placed at the top. I have a serious and humorous side to my personality that often run simultaneously, yet can be adjusted to fit the situation. I love to laugh as much as I enjoy making people laugh. Being able to find humor in everyday life makes it that much more interesting. A year ago I visited a comedy club for the first time and loved it, especially sitting in the front row and getting to participate a little (it's hard to convince my friends to sit in the front row, but that's ok). Some things that make me laugh... The Simpsons, Seinfeld, Joe Rogan's podcast, Dave Chappelle, all of Chevy Chase's Vacation movies and The Office.

My favorite activities are taking a hike or bike ride after work or on nice weekends as a way to get outdoors and unwind from office life. When I finally have a house and a yard, I would love to have a garden. I also enjoy intellectual pursuits such as history or art museums. For the most part, as long as I enjoy the people I am with, I will always have fun.

I love to travel when I get the chance. I like hiking in the Smoky Mountains or a relaxing trip to Florida, but I also enjoy variety. I'd love to visit all 50 states in my lifetime. Also, I have never left North America but would like to change that in the near future.

I value the family and friends in my life and have always been good at keeping close connections. I am very open to new experiences that will add to my life. I am very adaptable and don't get easily flustered or frustrated by the inconveniences life throws at you,

Reading is a regular part of my life. I love National Geographic magazine, and history & science related books. I've been considering finding some fiction to read. I've never found a movie as good as what can be created with your own imagination.

I will indulge on the weekends but I generally eat a healthy diet. I love everything about food, from growing to cooking to experimenting with different ingredients.

For those familiar with MBTI - I am an INTJ.

I am not religious in any way. Life is fascinating enough for me, I see no reason to invoke the supernatural.

I am hoping to find someone with a good personality and good sense of humor who is looking for a real relationship.
