Ok, so I'm Matt and this is me setting fire to my comfort zone.

I think I'm a pretty decent blend of practicality and spontaneity.
For example: on a whim, I once bid on and won an ebay auction for a barely functional Honda CB350 motorcycle. I hadn't the slightest clue how to ride, but I did have the foresight to order the repair manual from Amazon.

And this is how I live; doing semi-unreasonable things in a semi-
responsible way.

Well, I work for one of the best young-ish advertising agencies in the world. Mostly my job involves being creative, sleep deprived, and stupidly optimistic. It's a good time.

– Making to-do lists and not looking at them.
– Getting serious when everyone else decides to be inappropriate.
– Being inappropriate when everyone else decides to get serious.
– Flipping the omelet without a spatula.
– Picking omelet off the stovetop.
– Laughing at you, but with you, but maybe a little at you.
– Deciding what movie to see.
– Getting a stranger to smile during the course of an elevator ride.
– Throwing my hands up in the air (sometimes).
– Knowing whether or not I’ll like a song based on first few bars.
– Speaking of bars, avoiding that arbitrary B.S. credit card minimum.
– And speaking of B.S., cursing politely.
– Streamofconsciousness.

Additionally, I'm pretty fond of being a considerate human being. I think I’m good at giving feedback but not judging. At work or socially, I'm pretty clear about how I feel in a respectful way.

I asked my mother (via text) to which she replied:
– That. generous kind funny
– R u on a date now? Say hello
(after a 2 minute delay)
– Charismatic

Aww, thanks mom.

If it's an HBO series, I'll probably watch it. And like it. A lot.
Of course there's 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Parks and Rec. Oh and did someone say West Wing?

Despite being a film major, my favorite movies are the ones that have a high nostalgia factor: Big Lebowski, My Cousin Vinny, When Harry Met Sally, Ghostbusters, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Back to the Future.

A cross section of my music library: M83, The Band, Jay-Z, Regina Spektor, The National, Billy Joel, John Coltrane. I'm down to see that new band no one's heard but I'll rock top 40s too.

I love having a Kindle because you don't know if I'm reading a screenplay, the New York Times or Hunger Games.

I grew up around a hispanic kitchen so I love cilantro and avocados. But I'll eat anything at anytime and dine anywhere. No seriously.
