My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am attracted to kindness, humility, compassion, gratitude, and intelligence. Healthy living is critical - including exercise, eating right, and mindful living. I value emotional intelligence, affection, and stability. A sense of inquisitiveness about the world and a secure sense of self are also important to me. I am looking for authenticity, kindness and a someone who wants to create a better world.

I care about public health, access to health care, the environment, and elimination of poverty and disease. I believe art, music and literature is critical to everything important in life. I like good food and wine, hiking, kayaking (though my adventures have mostly involved canals...), finishing a 10K or half marathon, and making a difference.

My primary focus in my life is raising my daughters to be healthy, happy, confident and secure. They drive almost every decision I make. And I am open and available to also give unconditionally to an equal partner. I am also passionate about my career as a cancer researcher and public health practice in general. I try to cultivate mindfulness to be present and open to the world.

I'm generally attracted to feminine women who don't wear a lot of makeup and androgynous women. I am attracted to intellect and emotional intelligence and an appreciation for art, mindfulness, ethics and connection. I also tend to need a fair amount of space for my own interests, but am very present when I'm with you.

No open relationships, couples or hookups, please.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I run patient-centered programs and health equity initiatives for a cancer center in DC. When I have time I run, do yoga, play guitar (I'm not good), read, learn from my eight year old and discuss general concepts of quantum physics with her, drink decaf coffee and try new wines.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Compassion. Creating professional collaborations. Choosing great wine.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My daughters.
2. Human connection.
3. Purposeful work.
4. Compassion.
5. Massage.
6. Good food & wine.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Who I want to be. How to be a better mom, friend, and daughter. How to improve the world, improve public health and cultivate kindness.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out to dinner, at the theatre or both. Or reading a book with a glass of wine. Or cooking dinner for a friend.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You value maturity and complexity in human relationships as well as simplicity in life. You are kind, authentic, compassionate, want to contribute to making the world a better place, and have space for someone with those qualities in your life. I likely won't respond to messages unless you share something of yourself with me. I'm looking for meaningful connections only. Namaste.
