I appreciate humor, especially self-deprecating or dirty humor. I love to run with a pack and I have great friends but I am just as happy with a night at home catching up on my tivo.
I live on the upper east side and while it wouldn't be my first choice of neighborhoods it has become home.
I also like to ask a lot of questions and would have been a really good contestant on the pyramid.

Books - Anything by Bret Easton Ellis. My summer poolside reading
was all the Tales of the City books.
Movies - My tastes vary. I get excited about big budget blockbusters as well as small indy type films. It all depends on the film. Usually if it is from a comic book I will want to see it. Even though I was never really into comics growing up.
Music - Mostly pop music and maybe a showtune thrown in for good measure.
Food - I love it all. I will try most anything once. I am a sucker for crap food, anything fried or with a side of ranch is heaven. The one thing I don't like is chocolate cake. Most people don't understand that.
