I'm a certified school teacher, trying to get into my own classroom. I have been a teacher's aide for two years, and substitute taught for one. I currently live at home with my parents (not something I am proud of), my younger brother, and our yorkie Melvyn. I am a huge Sox fan, sports fan in general. I enjoy spending time in the city, going to muesums, zoos, the gym, visiting my older brother, sister in law, and their son in Florida when I can find the time. I also enjoy working out, watching movies, sports, listening to music and singing. I am the kind of girl you can bring home to mom and dad, and yet I can still get along with your buddies. I can relax at home or get gussied up for a night out. As long as we take turns choosing what to do, I have no problem trying things for the first time (within reason of course.)

I'd have to say that my weakness lies in how a guy treats his family. I am very family oriented and would see that how he treats his friends and family would reflect on how he would treat me, especially in terms of the women in his life. I am also a sucker for romance. I don't need candlelight dinners and expensive things, but the little things mean the most to me.

I have a lot I want to accomplish in my life and would also like to find someone that would support me, and I would do the same for them. If it means moving out of the state, I would hope the guy I am with is willing to do that, just like I would be, after some discussion of course.

I like ball games, beer, video games, movies, and things like that but I like nice dinners, quiet nights at home, traveling, and things like that as well. I can be one of the guys, but I would hope to be treated like a lady first and foremost. I can handle jokes, but not if they are hurtful. I will let you know if you have offended me, and I would expect the same. Communication is very important, just as important as understanding.

I have a lot more to say, but I feel like if I say everything it would take away the suspense in getting to know me, or anyone for that matter. If you want to know anything, just ask and as long as it's not too personal I'll answer.

As I said, I am a cert. teacher trying to get my own classroom....once January hits I will be starting my masters in Special Education. So school and work go hand in hand in my life. At the same time I try to spend my free time with friends and family. Eventually I would like to move out of my parents' home, get a place of my own and years down the road get married and have a family.

People say I am good at: singing, massages, making them laugh, and writing. I'd say those are all fairly true.

I have way too many movies to name, but I love Nicholas Sparks books as well as the Twilight books, Harry Potter, and am willing to take recommendations as to what I should try. Music is my other passion. I love country music, but I also like: rock, alternative, oldies (even Sinatra), pop. As far as food I like Italian, Thai, Mexican, Lithuanian, and of course American favorites-Pizza, Hot Dogs, and Burgers.
