As soon as spring rolls around, I start talking about my community garden plot. I keep a busy volunteer/work schedule, but love to see my friends. I am brainy, kind of shy, and enthusiastic. My friends and co-workers think I'm funny (so I guess that means I'm funny).

During the day, I work at a social service agency. When not working, I help coordinate a volunteer-led conference and participate in the core leadership of another volunteer organization. Otherwise, I can be found reading for fun, visiting friends, watching a movie, working on my community garden plot in the summer, engaged in caffeinated people watching in a coffeeshop, hiking, music listening.

I love reading fiction, biography, and memoir. I read several books a week (a pleasure of train commuting). Billy Collins and ee cummings are my favorite poets.

According to Netflix, I currently enjoy "inspiring independent dramas", I also like movies with "quirky female leads" and "feel good romantic comedies"

Music: Girly folk-rock, Simon and Garfunkel, whatever I find intriguing from the most recent Sound Opinions podcast, and I really like Sara Bareilles right now.
